We came here for dinner last night because of the excellent reviews and were not disappointed. Our family of 4 was the 2nd table to be seated but the restaurant filled up quickly after us. We started with a complimentary croquette each, then shared 2 starters: tuna carpaccio & moorish pastella and a main of sliced beef steak. The tuna carpaccio, served with toast & salsa, was fantastic! It was our first time trying a moorish pastella so we can’t say how it compares to another but we enjoyed the interesting sweet and savory flavor. The sliced beef steak was very tasty but some parts of the cut were a little chewy. The grilled vegetables served together were really fresh and yummy. We ended the dinner with 3 desserts - apple tiramisu (sounds strange but works so well!), “summer all year” (may be the strangest dessert we ever had, for it had sliced carrots but a very interesting mix of flavors and sensations because of the popping candy) and the house favorite - Anissa tartin (again, another interesting mix of sweet & salty, hot & cold). All were instagram worthy and, more importantly, tasted very good. Would love to return if we visit...
Read moreWe used to love it here but it went kinda downhill the past two years concerning the things that mattered to us. Their waiter is, as always, really nice and helpful and loves helping and giving recommendations but I think the business has lost all of its charms due to the changes they made. They obviously try to take their 'upscale, expensive and small bites' motto to a whole new level. Those dishes we longed to come back for are long gone from the menu and the remaining rest is basically just the same you can find around anywhere but on a much higher price level. For that, you only get really small 1-bite-complementary tapas and feel really uncomfortable if you are not ordering plates of food, you feel kinda pushed to order. Again, service is impeccible and the reason we came back that one last time but that doesn't change the facts that you as a customer feel misplaced. I am not sure, as much as I used to love this place, that Granada actually needs the new concept of...
