I really want to give this place a great but here we go.. Let's start with the pros.... The view are amazing, the old building and its restoration are gorgeous plenty of seating and the staff was super nice and knowledgeable.. The cons... Parking is horrendous with no order what's so ever, then restaurant seems to have multiple personalities, if you want to eat a real dinner you need to go inside but you can sit on the patio come inside order tappas and drinks yourself or walk down around the corner (20 steps) to a part of the restaurant that is run by someone else I guess that has different tappas and order and serve yourself. ... If you want to eat at the restaurant you need to make a reservation or you end up in the loft where your kind of forgotten and hot. We felt a bit rushed to order. So keep it simple. For 27€, 8 somewhat small steak medallions and day old soggy fries, that's it. Definitely not happy and hungry after a 5hr drive from Madrid. My girl had like a 32€ sliced NY strip(less than 8oz) on a small wood carbon grill, presentation was on point, but, it only came with a bit of lettuce and unions, that's it .. Bottom line is they need to up there portions, give more options of sides to go with their dishes, stop with the entire loaf of bread per person (fyi, they charge you per loaf.. Not included ) and maybe have some real outdoor food services, it's...

Really unfriendly and unpleasant place. We arrived on a Monday wanting to be fed after a long journey. We thought as we were staying in the campsite next to the restaurant that it would be a great choice. The receptionist at the campsite also recommended it but said it was good but expensive. Unfortunately we still decided to go. On arrival there were only two couples sitting outside having a drink and the rest of the terrace was empty. I went inside (which was also empty!!) as we have a dog, to ask if we could be served with the dog. The waiter told us that we could not sit inside with the dog (which is fine, as many restaurants do) so when I asked if we could sit outside the waiter told me they don’t serve any food outside? Really???!!! Why? Asked if we could at least order a burger to take away and was told no. The staff made me feel humiliated and upset. This place has clearly got its priorities wrong. It has the most beautiful terrace with incredible views and you can’t sit outside to enjoy these while you eat, utter madness!!We were happy to pay their exorbitant prices and even put up with the rude service mentioned in other reviews and also experienced by us but now I’m glad that our dog saved us from such...

We found the place on Google maps and simply tried it out last night. When we arrived, we booked a table for 20:45 which is when they open. We had some sundowners on the outside terrace with green olives whilst we waited. They have a wide range of gins to choose from. Entering the restaurant one has to walk up stairs with a very low ceiling. Lovely space inside with delicious food. We had the local fish turbot (rodoballo) with local tomato salad and green peppers from Gernika grilled. The food was served within very good time. The view is awesome as one looks onto the estuary. Calm jazz was playing softly and the tables are well spaced so that the noise levels were minimized and we could...

Me parece lamentable.

This is a very classy restaurant in a superb position, the views from the restaurant and terrace are stunning Staff are friendly and the menu is varied and well priced My grilled hake was super fresh and perfectly cooked Mark had the Basque speciality of Hake cheeks, delicious You can just sit on the fabulous terrace and have a drink if you like Before lunch we had a glass of cava, quality beer and 3 pinchos, €13, sitting in the best spot
