Lovely beach feel with white furniture placed on sand in the restaurant area. Staff worked hard as it was a popular place for lunch. I'd advise booking a table - we didn't but they were happy for us to eat sitting on the perimeter couches at a coffee table even during peak period. The food was tasty and for us good value (50% discount) as a guest who booked to stay directly through their website. 1 Ceasar salad plus cheeseburger and fries -€10. The Paella looked very good. If you are all inclusive the beer on tap was Estrella, a nice change from the San Miguel at the Garden Holiday Village where we were staying. We took the free shuttle bus there and stayed from 10.30- 5.45pm. You walk out of the restaurant straight onto the beach. There are sunbeds available to hire under fixed thatched umbrellas - 2 beds, the umbrella and a lockable save tucked up under the umbrella = €13.75 for the day. The sea was warm and shallow for quite a way out. The toilets were also for the public beach, the ladies could have benefited from a more thorough clean (sanitary wear box) but apparently the...
Read moreBeach club? Beach cafe with parasols more like it, though it does have a superb view. Save your money and have a picnic & drinks on the beach. We booked a table for 4pm for food and drinks we arrived at 3.50 pm to be put on a side table just wiped down with nothing on. The waitress just walked away and left us . 4.15pm we got her attention to which she was not happy with and ordered a drink. We asked politley for a menu as it would not download. She looked at me as though I had 10 heads. I saw the table next to us have nachos so I asked her for them when she walked back. 5pm we are still waiting for them . If you decide to go I hope you are not greeted by the same sour faced waitress as we were (her name M** ) . More staff needed and a little bit of customer service training wouldn't go a miss. No wonder the place is only open 12 until 6 . This could be a goldmine for the owner if it was ran correctly . We left at 5.10 requesting the bill at the shack and was greeted by the "waitress" who abruptly said Gracias as she gave me my...
Read moreWell, we cannot complain. For the first time we were there 9 years ago, and we fell in love with the place - the great views, the good sangria and orange juice, and their wonderful croquetas. This year in May we visited again - a bit of sentimental trip. Turned out their kitchen was out of service, and we could only get drinks. But... after we explained our story, the fact that we travelled all the way from Germany to revisit their little restaurant and to enjoy their great croquetas, the waitress was very kind to arrange that particular food for us from a nearby restaurant (Giardino - where we actually ate 9 years ago and loved it too). So we were very impressed with such service and willingness to go out of the way to...
