Stumbled upon whilst staying in a nearby hotel (zafiro Bahia ) as i wandered into playa def Mauro main strip. Menu outside looked good with plenty of selection. Took my wife the following evening for a meal as it was our anniversary. I hadn't booked and they were able to fit us in but given the number of reserved tables i would recommend booking if you wish to guarantee a table.
Menu is extensive but with a fish/seafood core theme. For starters we shared mussels and a plate of scallops. Both were sublime, cooked to perfection, delicious and presented well. Mains were monkfish for myself and my wife went for grilled lamb chops. Portion sizes fine, quality excellent and cooked spot on. The chops had that hard to achieve but just right blend of pink but with some char for extra flavour. We had desserts of lemon semifredo and a ice cream cake drizzled in whiskey. Nothing to complain about here either. Decent size and lovely flavours. They were not short with the shot of whiskey either.
We accompanied the meal with a nice dry white wine and water
Bill came to around 100 gbp after conversion and for quality and quantity and choice it was significantly better than average for value.
We would definitely look to visit again next time i am in that area.

Read moreAfter overpaying at the usual tourist traps in Alcudia harbour, we discovered this gem. The paella and sangria were absolutely delicious, the dessert menu had great options and the staff were attentive and spoke excellent English. If it werenât our last night here, weâd definitely be back!
Looking at other reviews, itâs clear this isnât just our impression: people consistently praise the fresh seafood (grilled fish, scallops, octopus, cod), the variety of starters like garlic prawns and baby squid, and traditional Mallorcan dishes. The atmosphere is elegant yet relaxed, and the service is warm and professional â attentive without being pushy. Paella takes a bit of time as itâs cooked to order, but itâs worth the wait. Prices arenât the cheapest, but the quality and care put into the food make it excellent value compared to the harbour options.
A wonderful place for a special dinner away from the touristy spots â highly...
