Bitácora Cocktail Lounge — Restaurant in Noja

They won a price for the best pizza in town (not difficult if there’s almost no competition) but they should get an award for the smallest pizza in the world…!

When I arrived I thought; €10 for a pizza that’s actually ok! But now I understand why; never…ever…have I seen a pizza this small! Normally I have about a quarter left, now I was still hungry..

When I made a polite comment about it the answer was that I could order (and thus pay) some more…(duh…)

For me the fundamentals of having dinner is to eat enough (and no I’m not a big eater). Now I spend actually quite a lot for something mediocre. That why only the 2 star rating

The pizza itself wasn’t bad, but definitely not the best. On a pizza with goat cheese there was just a puddle of grease.. the tomato sauce had no flavor and the crust was very flowery.. at best a 7- and I’m being generous

The place itself is nice. A bit tucked away but they do have some limited seats with sea view.

Great food and wonderful service. The family ate pizza and they were fresh with great dough and delicious. The pizza size is enough for a person with a standard appetite so ignore any comments about them being too small. We did go to other pizzas in Noja which were larger but the quality not so great. Here at the Bitacora they were excellent. We also tried the burgers which were delicious. The location is brilliant, just off the beach. We went there twice in our week in Noja. It would have been a 3rd time but we forced ourselves to try somewhere new, ended up in the place upstairs which was a grave mistake....

Fuimos allí expresamente a cenar, sobre las 9 de la noche y tras estar esperando en el “hall” donde tienen un cartel que dice “Esperen aquí para ser atendidos” se acercó hacia nosotros lentamente el único personaje que estaba en el local. Tras saludarle le dije y señalé con mi mano en varias ocasiones que quería una mesa para dos personas por favor, sabiendo que tenían al menos tres mesas libres en ese momento que previamente habíamos visto desde fuera.

Este personaje se limitó directamente a denegarnos el acceso a la terraza/espacio que tienen habilitado para las cenas/comidas y mandarnos a la terraza exterior, incluso habiéndole preguntado después si no podíamos dentro porque queríamos comer algo. Señor, creo que se entiende perfectamente que si no nos hemos sentado previamente en la otra terraza exterior, la cual tienen destinada exclusivamente para beber y en la que había mesas libres, es porque venimos directamente a comer algo.

Lamentable la actitud por parte de dicho individuo, que al parecer prejuzga y hace descarte si las personas que van a su local son “jóvenes” (30/36 años).

Clientes y consumición, que precisamente no iba a ser barata, más que perdidos....
