This was one of the biggest food disappointments on our trip to O Grove where we are testing eateries. For starters, we were left to wait for an hour for food. We even had to ask why it was taking so long. It came out in drips and drabs over a 10 minute period. The waiter threw my plate at me and walked off. The food was shocking. Teens order spaghetti and got a strange concoction of meat from a tin which was cold and tasted like vinegar. My wife’s salad was poor with tinned tuna and the beef cheeks I got were reasonable but had fatty bits that were chewy but as I got it 10 mins after the rest of the table, I was already a bit annoyed. I think what made it a bad experience was the fact a lot of people arrived after us and ordered after us and received 3 courses before we got any food. Nice restaurant with seating inside and outside in the plaza behind. If you don’t see the plaza, it does not look very appealing. The food was quite good. The service was extremely slow though. Decepcionante es la palabra. Terraza con mesas inclinadas.
Servicio normal ya que solo estabamos nosotros a comer. Amable porque a las niñas les dio un mantel especial para pintar con pinturas.
Pero hasta ahi. Caro en proporcion, calidad justa y el ambiente tipico para renovar desde hace 20 años.
Las croquetas, aunque caseras, no estam buenas, no son cremosas y parecen mazacote, a parte bastante pequeñas.
La tortilla muy buena pinta, pero poco mas, no era ninguna maravilla para lo q se acostumbra por Galicia.
Pimientos de padron bien, pero a 8€ la racion que ni en el centro de las ciudades estan a ese precio.
Los calamares bien hechos pero sin grandes florituras.
La cerveza y aqui viene lo lamentable, a 2,70€ el tercio de estrella y lo peor es q estaban calientes, como si hubieran rellenado las camaras a la 1 cuando abren antes de dar comidas. Esto no puede ser.
Total casi 50 pavos donde eso mismo, mejor preparado, mas cantidad y calidad no suele pasar de 35-40€ en los demas sitios.
