Restaurante A Francachela — Restaurant in O Porriño

Honestly, I don’t really understand how this place could have a rating over 4 stars. The waitress didn’t care about me at all (even though she must have noticed me when I walked inside to grab a menu). She even went to take an order from a table of about 10 people who had arrived maybe 10 minutes after me, while I was sitting there alone. At that point, I was already considering leaving—but unfortunately, I didn’t.

The glasses weren’t very clean, though they were passable. What mattered more, though, was the poor quality of the food, which was also quite pricey for what it was. The pimientos de padrón were decent, but I’ve definitely had better. The soggy squids and French fries smelled like they’d been fried in old oil, and the salad was ridiculous: just lettuce, two slices of tomato, a limp asparagus spear, and maybe 15 grams of chicken 😅

I ate everything because I was really hungry, but I didn’t enjoy it at all.

The ambiance didn’t help either—constant pigeon attacks, people smoking, and another one playing music out loud (which obviously isn’t the restaurant’s fault, but still added to the poor experience).

I walked an extra 3 km after already having walked over 30 that day, just to eat something other than pasta - but I couldn’t...

Un lugar en el que NO DEBES SENTARTE. Y en respuesta al propietario, es de sentido común saber que si echas de comer a las palomas volverán una y otra vez en busca de más, volviendo así a inundar las mesas y tirar cualquier cosa que haya sobre la misma. “Nunca me siento” dice con total confianza, mucho tiempo sentado te vimos hablando y sin levantar tu “baja espalda”. No nos llames mentirosos a estos tres peregrinos porque si no, no habría tanta respuesta negativa, y todas haciendo referencia a lo mismo “la falta de respeto y la atención deficiente” y con gusto te recuerdo el momento, y es que a pesar de llevar tres rondas de refrigerios y ser los únicos en no tener nada que echar a la boca, a mi pregunta de “disculpe ¿por que toda las mesas están servidas excepto la nuestra?”, la respuesta de usted (el gerente) fue acercar su mala cara a un palmo de la mía (covid free) y decir en un tono poco agradable, “es que acaso tú no te equivocas, he atendido a todos los demás porque no he tenido tiempo” supongo que sería por dar de comer a las palomas para nuestra comodidad. En resumen PEREGRINOS después de llevar horas andando si pasáis por Porriño no os sentéis en este lugar ya que como podéis ver, con una disculpa era suficiente, y solo se nos tacha de mentirosos. Paprika está justo al lado y nos arregló este mal sabor de boca. Un saludo y...

Worst service in the city, they don't let you order inside, you have to sit outside and wait for the... waiter to take your order, if you're lucky this comes about 15 minutes after you sit.
