Bar Escales — Restaurant in Orba

We've used this traditional Spanish bar for a couple of years now and find the food to be of a high standard. Service can vary due to how busy they are, but it's generally fast and efficient. Good selection of tapas, including excellent Tigres (chopped muscles in a creamy sauce with bread crumbs on top). It's very reasonably priced and the plates of the day are good value for money. El sitio no esta mal del todo , un bar pequeño en una plaza. La comida , la mayoría bastante buena. Pero el servicio deja mucho que desear. Le pregunto al camarero , un chico moreno , que tipo de cocas de maíz tienen . Me responde que de atún y huevo y anchoa y huevo. Cuando las traen , una si es de huevo y atún , pero la otra es de allioli y anchoa , que encima era una anchoa mas pequeña que mi dedo indice, le comunico que fue error de él y que se la llevara . No la comí ni la probé y ni siquiera fue capaz de ofrecerme otra cosa, tuve que pedir yo la carta . Cuando nos cobraron , nos han cobrado el error del camarero , amablemente le decimos si lo tenemos que pagar aunque haya sido un error de él , y nos dice que si . No pongo 1 estrella porque la comida estaba buena , pero desde luego que no vamos a volver, hemos pagado por un plato devuelto que ni siquiera fue...

The warmed up food, wasn't even warm a d we had to ask them to reheat it .....again. Tasted old and unsavoury. Eating outside we were surrounded by other people's smoke and nothing was clean. Not a pleasant...
