Citrus Bistro & Bar — Restaurant in Orba

Was at Citrus for a fabulous afternoon watching LA Roxx with family and friends... Some reviewers on here are being less than honest... So lets look at the reality. Sunday afternoons are very busy, you must book a table, so to cater for everyone from the tiny kitchen, meals switch from Sunday roast, BBQ or on this occasion Chilli and one other, one pot dish, This is only Sundays every other day there's a menu... For 99% of people this is just fine.. I chose the chilli which was excellent I had it with rice and chips... Price? a very reasonable 7 euros... The meals are never promised to come out immediately, its an afternoon event so you get it when its your turn... but its no big deal for most because its a great afternoon.. and theres no rush. The band you get to watch for free.... the only thing that can spoil the afternoon is when someone on the next table moans from the moment they arrive about the table, table position, sun, shade etc etc, these people then leave a rotten review that can be safely ignored.. Go and have a great time at Citrus like most of us do... and watch great acts for the price of a cheap meal... Would...

We attended to see the band playing again, who were great as usual (LA Roxx). The venue is OK, but didn't feel particularly friendly. It was very business like. You want a drink, we supply a drink, pay for the drink. Although it was very busy, it's not particularly inviting to come back (without the band). Quite an expensive visit relatively and not veggie friendly. It's a shame because it's a really good location and great potential. It reminded us of a British pub, where the staff are tired of...

The staff are friendly and welcoming. The menu is British based with fresh specials on a regular basis. Portions are generous and well presented. Setting is comfortable both indoors and outdoors with a lovely log fire in the winter months. Community knowledge is evident with a number of advertising cards available with personal information about previous experiences of usage.
