Como en Napoli "Lomas de Cabo Roig" - Pizzería Napolitana — Restaurant in Orihuela

We have eaten here previously and the pizzas are lovely. We also had takeaway as it’s close to where we live which was also very good. However when my husband tried to have a takeaway pizza a few weeks ago he was told abruptly no, that they were too busy. We gave them the benefit of the doubt and returned to eat there tonight. It had just opened. We sat down at a table and there was one other table with two people who were sitting with drinks. The owner (or waiter) who was inside was on his phone, and remained on his phone as we sat and waited. No greeting, no welcome, he just ignored us as he remained on his phone for the 10 minutes we sat and waited. We just got up and walked out as this was just terrible customer service. Been here 3 times now. Every time the food has been 10/10, the sangria is amazing. The first time the service was amazing on reflection I remember speaking to the owner so I think this may have been why the service was good, but the 2 other times I’ve come in the service has been AWFUL. One female staff member in particular she seemed to just treat us like we were a burden BOTH TIMES WEEKS APART. Our orders were messed up or just completely forgotten about and when we flagged this we were made to feel like we had done something wrong and also pay for an extra aperol spritz we were served that we didn’t order. Called ahead of time and asked for a table for 14 people. I specifically asked him if he understood me and he said yes. When we then arrived they said that I had told them a table for 4 people. They were very unhelpful and rude. Don’t say that you understand someone if you don’t.

After response from owner: Wow, just wow. They are liars as well. They accuse us of being drunk, we were a family of 14 with 6 people over 60, 2 children under the age of 3 and one teenager who is 14 years old and we all drove there.
