RESTAURANTE CASA SANDRA — Restaurant in Orpesa / Oropesa del Mar

I stumbled across this place after receiving the wrong directions to another cafe.

Fortunately there was an English speaking member of staff who found me struggling to order and quickly helped out, giving me a menu and helping me place my order.

The food was excellent! The staff were very helpful and the service was great too.

I had breakfast which consisted of: Egg sandwich, olives (complimentary), Coffee and Lemon Cake.

The portions given are very generous. Both the sandwich and cake were heftier than I expected but, I'm not complaining 😀

The cake was homemade and tasted delicious. The sandwich was made with fresh bread (baguette) and the egg was cooked just how I liked it.

I would definitely recommend this place as a place for breakfast. If I have time again during my stay I will...

Yo he tenido una muy mala experiencia. De primero, la chica q nos atendió para hacer la nota no se aclaraba y se equivoco varias veces. De segundo, pedimos de primer plato fideua, y cuando nos lo trajeron tuvimos q decirles q nos lo volvieran a calentar porque estaba frío de haberlo echo hace bastante rato. Cuando nos traen los segundos, en uno de los platos (solomillo de pollo) no especificaba q era empanado, al cambiarlo por ser celíaco, hemos pedido chuletas y al traerlas, volvía a estar el plato frío. Y ya el remate ha sido q para tomarnos nota de los postres, hemos tenido q entrar dentro a buscarlas para pedirlas. Encima el famoso chuleton del pirineo era simplemente falda de ternera. Así q...

Disappointing! We were not made welcome. The meal of the day did not offer white wine. The waitress was unfriendly and got our order wrong...The food was okay but not great. There are so many better places we'll not...
