Since 2006, I have frequented this restaurant numerous times, once appreciating it as a standout destination for Spanish and Italian cuisine. Regrettably, over time, it has experienced a steady decline, now falling far below any reasonable standard. The ambiance has grown cold and impersonal, though the staff remains courteous and welcoming. The outdoor tent area evokes memories of the most restrictive days of the pandemic, contributing little to the dining experience. The quality of the food ranges from mediocre to frankly unacceptable, regardless of the dish ordered. On my most recent visit, I was served fish that was much too old and bad with a terrible taste —a clear indication of insufficient attention to culinary standards. While the dishes lack finesse and expertise in their preparation, the prices remain disproportionately high. Given that this establishment is beautifully designed, had a great reputation and is part of a 4-star hotel, these shortcomings are particularly disappointing. Significant improvements are urgently needed to restore what was once a...
Read moreIt was a very nice place to stay at. We wanted to try the real paella (not the hotel version…) and this place had great reviews. We arrived at the time they were opening, so we could choose any of the tables. You could sit either in a plastic surrounding or in the restaurant itself, which looked a little like a hangar for planes or a garage… We were surprised that the waiters were Asian and not Spanish, they were very nice though, so no problem with that. The sangria was very good, the paella as well, our friend tried the avocado prawns, we were surprised that there’s no bread included🤷♂️. They gave us a baguette with olive oil or butter as a starter for free which was nice, but at the end we found out that they ad a 7% tip that you have to pay, which wasn’t that nice (but they deserved it after all). If you don’t really mind the surrounding, it’s a perfect place to try some...
Read moreAvoid this place at any cost! It may be OK if you want a drink or two but definitely not for a dinner. We ordered a fish plate (frozen fish, some was bad and stinky and half raw frozen sea food), grilled entrecote (frozen and tasteless) with terrible stinky fries, and lasagne al forno (made from god knows what and burned). According to earlier reviews it used to be a nice place. But it is under a Chinese management now and Chinese staff doesn't speak English nor Spanish. We still we managed to get refund from the Chinese waitress for the rotten fish plate. The one Spanish waitres present in the restaurant was nice and kind...
