Patxei Gastrobar — Restaurant in Palafrugell

Quite a traditional European-style bar. The food isn't especially fancy but it is good, honest, local, and very tasty. There's a decent range of local tapas, many of them fish or seafood. As often the case in Spain the owner/barman is an excellent host with a lot of knowledge about, and passion for, his food and drink, and clearly puts his heart into it. The bar itself isn't on the main strip so doesn't offer sea views, nevertheless I'd say it's worth considering especially if you just want some good food. Frequented by locals as well...

Estuve el año pasado y me encantó. Menú tapas muy bién. Pero ayer me lleve una gran decepción. Fatal no lo recomiendo para nada. Tardaron muchísimo en servir y además nefasto la comida fatal. El menú tapas son 6 tapas la primera los mejillones al vapor mal, pienso bueno a veure... el segundo pa de vindre amb tomaquet y anxoves, aquesta be, el seguent trigan una 1/2 hora en portarlo y a sobre fatal eren saitons, pero estaven com refrexits ho dic, m'els canvien pero no, ho sento pero no els menjem. Demanden que si us plau si poden anar portan els seguents, porten els calamars a la andaluza, salats.. .Jo ja no PUC mes xq desde que habíamos llegado ya había pasado 1hora y 3/4. Le digo que no me traiga más platos (quedaban por traer las navajas y las gambas). Bueno le digo q no traiga más platos que son las 4:45 (desde las 3 que habíamos llegado) que por favor me traiga la cuenta. El unico comentario q nos hace la camarera, es q ella si no le fan los no los puede sacar. Hay que tener en cuenta q no comimos ni los pescaditos (xq no se podían comer) ni los calamares... (más de lo mismo). Pero la cuenta la traen entera dos "menús tapas" a 22 euros. 44 euros pagamos y nos vamos Por supuesto...
