Chiringito Las Pistas — Restaurant in Pilar de la Horadada

We were really looking forward to trying out the restaurant opposite our residence as a family. My husband had already had the opportunity to try it on his own, but despite his first experience, which was already disappointing, we still wanted to try it, but it was the worst experience of our lives, not for the quality of the service and the meal, but for the lack of consideration shown to foreign customers. Despite having booked the day before, we ended up on the back terrace, facing the sports field, while most of the tables on the front terrace were still empty when we left. We ordered paellas and, as was the case on my husband's first visit, it was not possible to order a paella. Removing paella from the menu would be clearer! We had hardly settled in when we received our starters with dry bread and the main courses followed even though the starters hadn't been finished. Tourists don't seem to be welcome, what a lack of respect and consideration, we're disgusted! I feel sorry for the young waitresses who work for this...

En absoluto si no eres español. En primer lugar, reservamos la antigua para el día siguiente a las 20.30. Nos colocaron detrás del restaurante, donde las hojas y los excrementos de los pájaros nos caían encima a cada segundo, mientras que el resto de la terraza estaba libre, pero eso puede pasar. Nos sirvieron trocitos de pan duro como aperitivo, mientras a nuestro lado, a unos españoles les servían tostadas y otros acompañamientos. Authentic Spanish cafe / bar; these places are getting harder to find. Some members of staff appear disinterested, but that's part of the charm.
