Terrible Experience and unprofessional service. We arrived for our 7pm table, waitress serving us was nice and accommodating to be fair, we ordered a drink from a waiter who had then decided to serve us and try to sell us fish specials, we tried to order Paella from our waitress. We were informed that the kitchen could not do Paella if not preordered but she would check. After checking we were informed it would be an hour wait but was possible with limited options, so we agreed that was fine. We asked for a recommendation and placed an order but at the same time a small agressive waitress came running out of the kitchen ‘squawking’ and loudly spoke in my ear in a extremely rude manner that we could not have Paella and we should have preordered. The ‘squawking’ angry waitress then showed us the partially translated menu (into English), that we should have preorder (noting translation missing), she seemed to have an issue with English speakers even though we do speak basic Spanish or perhaps trying to look like the person in charge, either way didn’t impress. In the end we ordered a dish as could not be bothered to move restaurants, food was ok buy side dish arrived 10 minutes before the main so we sent back.Second waitress left a bad taste in our mouth and my ear. I would avoid eating here especially if the Pirates Parrot is...
Read moreWorst service I've ever had. tried to eat here on three diffrent times coming to spain never manged to eat there as the staff just ignore you and you could sit there for 1 hour. I went today all the empty table were reserved so I asked for a seat In spanish he referred me to the bald round man i beileve the manager who ignored me 4 times pretending he couldn't hear me when I was stood next to him and then finally said sit where you like without even looking at me. You need to learn basic manors why do you think it's okay to speak to potential customers like this, the other staff were not helpful either. Maybe that's why all therr other restaurants closed down and why most of the tables were empty I would say avoid there's much friendly...
Read more5 Stars Stopped by solo after a peaceful filming session on Playa de las Higuericas and had a beautiful experience. I was seated very quickly and felt instantly at ease.
I ordered the ensalada mixta con aceitunas and pan — grounding, simple, and full of flavour. Finished with a lovely café con leche that really rounded things off.
The atmosphere is calm, just steps from the beach, and Manuel, my waiter, was warm and attentive — he made the moment feel easy and cared for.
I was filming nearby for my nature walk project, The Wandering Stream, and this spot truly captured the stillness I look for. Highly recommended if you’re in the area and looking for somewhere to sit back, breathe, and enjoy the flow of the day.
