Food House Mil Palmeras — Restaurant in Pilar de la Horadada

This restaurant is not good at all. I have been visiting many Asian buffets across Europe and in US, however this is one is worst I’ve ever been. Food taste like rubbish (beef doesn’t even taste like beef, meat has no fiber at all, I don’t even know what was that), soups are awful (I took spicy Thai soup which tasted like cheap instant soup), chicken was same like beef - no taste at all. Fish was disgusting (soaked with oil and overcooked). Some appetizers were just ok (I.e., duck with orange, Thai triangles), but that’s it. We have last chance to try out sushi - and it was a bad idea - each sushi is served with some kind of mayonnaise plus fried onion on the top of each piece (I have never seen something like that in the sushi bars), it tastes so and (avocado was not fresh). For 2 adult and a kid we spent €53 and only coca-cola was real. Waste of money, only catchy thing is this BellaBot serving robot, but apparently is also making this food which is not good for humans. Ofc whole menu you order via webpage which is quite comfy, however pics incl. on web menu are not corresponding to the meals you get after. Plus if you order too many meals and don’t eat them due to the fact it is disgusting they will charge you additional €2 per plate as you wasted the food, so you need to force yourself to eat it to avoid paying extra for smth which is not even close to food. Please avoid this place if you have at least some respect...

Im not one to leave bad reviews at restaurants but this place was appauling. I ate there tonight with ny partner and 6 year old niece. Both me and my niece ended up ill, her with a bad stomach and me throwing up 15 minutes after leaving. We ordered the chicken thigh skewers which first arrived pink and uncooked in the middle to which we complained to a young waiter who didnt seem to care very much and only recommended we order a different chicken skewer. We tried the second that he recommended and ordered for us and this also came pink and uncooked which we was not happy about. We paid just under 60€ for 2 adults and a small child which i think is very overpriced for the food provided, quality of service and the fact we only had 3 waters and 2 "fizzy" drinks on top.

The only thing that seemed to work well in the restaurant was the robot "Waiter" they have which is a fun addition but now seems to be a lot more common in asain styled restaurants.

I would avoid this place like the plague, would not recommend to anybody and definitely will not be going...

Used to love the old wok buffet. Initially disappointed with having to order with writing numbers of what you want down and we ordered a few starters and were disappointed but then a lovely waitress said you can order loads of things at once starters mains etc and we then ordered about 10 items all of which came quick and were very well cooked and tasted great. Sushi and noodles dim sum all excellent could go on but nothing was horrible. Once you get over missing the buffet and knowing that you can keep ordering loads of stuff the same way its actually a better experience as every dish comes out with some care put to it and not just sitting on the buffet all night. People moan about the robot but i found it worked well for the staff. It could be improved with a tablet at each table or at a few points in the restaurant so you can order yourself and not have to write numbers down but it still works...
