Confitería Calvo Pastelería — Restaurant in Piloña

A local gem and homemade establishment that is a must-visit if you're ever in Infiesto. Our train reached Infiesto Ap. around 2pm and we strolled along the main street, and chanced upon Confitería Calvo. The window display of sweets and outdoor sign caught our attention. We debated what to get and eventually bought one piece of 'bomba de crema' and one piece of 'casadiellas' to go, and had them later after reuniting with our friends. They were amazing!! The crunchy nuts in the casadiellas within soft sugar coated donut-like pastry was a surprise to me. The bomba de crema was truly the most delicious bomb - the handmade custard was just right, not too sweet and not too milky, oozing out of the dorayaki-looking pastry as I bite into it - oh my god, I cannot imagine how heavenly it would be like when it was freshly out from the kitchen! I would have definitely returned for more if not...

Muy mal servicio. Tenía un encargo para recoger a las 11:45 y fui a por ello y me dice que todavía no está. Que fuese a las 12:15. Volví a es ahora y seguía sin estar. Cuando solo tenía 2 personas en el bar... El día anterior cuando se lo encargué me dió un precio y al día siguiente cuando le fui a pagar me cobra otra cosa. Y me dice que me tiene que cobrar la bolsa..cosa que no entiendo porque si en tú negocio propio vendes algo para llevar no tiene por qué cobrarte la bolsa. Lo que faltaba..ir a una confitería y llevar bolsas de casa también. Muy borde y muy antipática. No está preparada para estar cara al público. No recomiendo éste...

Una gestión en Infiesto. Hecha la tarea,me pongo a desayunar en una cafetería que también era pastelería. Más pastelería que cafetería. Sitio sencillo.pero pulcro y todo limpio. Pedí un croasán que parecían imponentes detrás del cristal. Uno de los.mejores croasanes de mi vida, por no decir el mejor. Grande-grande y con un sabor increíble. Un alimento completo y ¡una...
