We chanced on this little roadside cafe while exploring the area. A lovely setting with views of the hills. The cafe is a little tired in appearance, but the staff were very friendly and helpful, the service really good and the food the absolute best of local cuisine. Simple, well cooked and delicious. The photo is the view from our table.

What a great place! We, a group of 6 girls, just had a lovely spontaneous lunch of authentic and tasty tapas accompanied by some wine and a beautiful view. Lots of smaller tapas, perfect for sharing. And even followed by really good coffee. After lunch we were full and happy and only paid 10€ per person. 🧡

This is now our "local" as we live about 3 mins away in Xirles. The Sangria is the best available anywhere around here and the food is always cooked to order. Sometimes busy on Sundays in the summer (but not 2020) with bikers stopping. Its a place to spend a relaxing hour or so after visiting Polop.
