It is away from the main area where most people stay, but yes, we had 4 food courses to share, and although we are vegetarian, we were not disappointed. My wife had a full bottle of wine, and me a beer, to help the food go down, and also bread. Following the meal, we had an ice cream and a coffee each too, and the price, €11 each. Unbeatable. The food was plentiful and very tasty and the wine was delicious!
We had the menu and we started off with cecina which came on a large plate as a very generous portion. The main dishes were pork mince with pasta and green beans with potatoes, all very tasty and again in large quantities.
We chose to have the cornetto for dessert.
All in all, great value for money and if you are a Pilgrim, most certainly superb...
