Went here on Monday evening and although the place was really busy we got a good table after only a few minutes wait. Both serving staff were efficient and polite and the service was quick, despite the place being extremely busy. The toasted bread and olive oil with garlic to start with was fantastic. The spaghetti bolognese was ok but the pizza stole the show....it was fantastic. I will definitely be returning here again. The house red wine is also worth a mention being very good. All in all a great local place that serves reasonably priced tasty food. Starter to share, two nains and a bottle of wine, 35 euros.

Food is fantastic! Fresh, homemade, portion size perfect but fills you up so be careful if you order starters aswell. We share a garlic bread and they give you garlic oil and bread first. Very authentic. Staff are traditional. You may not think they over friendly but it’s their culture and it feels like your in someone’s home. We go every time we visit Spain. We call it the grumpy italian, as the owner is an older italian who sits in his chair and doesn’t speak much. But he’s brilliant and makes the place for its atmosphere. The pasta fantasia is fantastic. All the pasta is fantastic.

In a word - Quirky. Give it a try. As soon as you walk through the door your senses are greeted by the smell of beautiful food being prepared. Beautiful choice of starters, pizzas, pastas, meats and fish dishes. Always fresh and served piping hot. Save room for a dessert - they are a little special. A little gem of a restaurant but you're either hooked or you're not.

We received a very rushed greeting and was seated towards an open outside door causing an uncomfortable draft. Little hospitality was shown throughout our stay. My main pasta dish was burnt yet undercooked. My husband’s pizza dough was also undercooked. I observed the older man working there sorting out bills delivering the bill to the tables, then asking them to accompany him to his desk to pay by card. He didn’t come to my table with the bill but I noticed him gesticulating towards me with his hand from his desk in an a joining room, no one was around me so I gesticulated in return, are you talking to me. Abruptly, he indicated you come here, pointing at me and then pointing to the floor. I couldn’t believe what was happening and how dare someone converse with me in such a rude way. I had a very negative experience at this restaurant and I will never return...

Absolutely rude and completely unpresentable — the owner is by far the most unpleasant person I’ve ever come across. The restaurant itself is cool, the food is great, and the waiters and the chef are awesome. But the owner? A total mess. He’s always drunk, looks filthy, and treats people with zero respect. Every time you try to book a table, if a waiter answers, you might get lucky. But if the owner picks up? Good luck. Today he actually pushed me, told me “no,” and kicked me out — for no reason. Unbelievable. Oh, and on top of that, the guy refuses to accept card payments — cash only, which is super shady these days. I’m never going back. Total lack of respect, completely shameless behavior. Honestly, this should...

Booked a table in advance but we had to wait until someone had vacated their's to sit down!!! When we were eventually seated the table was on a definite slope. We were offered bread with alio and condensed tomatoes, it was garlic chilli oil not alio and had to ask 3 times for the tomato. The main was spaghetti with cream, tomatoes, mushrooms and ham. The ham was SO thinly sliced that it disappeared. There were 2 slices of mushrooms, no tomatoes. Dessert was profiteroles but no chocolate sauce to be seen!!! Drink was a coke and a bottle of water. The cost was over 35€ for 2, which ìs ok for 2 courses, IF the food is good. Service was poor and rude at times. NEVER ...
