Bar-restaurante "El Pirata" — Restaurant in Roquetas de Mar

Worst restaurant we have ever been in. Food delivered incorrectly and when changed the chicken was cold inside. We complained and said we didn't want it anymore but after a short period of time another was brought out which I refused. Nobody came near us to apologize and after we finished our wine my wife asked for the bill. Unbelievably they charged us the full amount. On asking why the waitress took our bill and returned after approximately 10 minutes, threw the bill down on the table and grumbled that the chicken dinner had been removed. The place does not look amazing but the food is. Paella is to die for, the smell of food first attracted us to this place, three years later we are still eating there. Michaela and Soham ( waitresses ) are always so busy but will always take time to help with any questions. prices are reasonable ,8 euros for 6 tapas sharing plate, sangria 3 euro, LGE lager 3.50 euro . Really good food, simple but done well, the quality of the ingredients is modest even tough the menu is only 17€ per person. Dessert avoid bit disappointing, the crema catalana had probably a finger of sugar in top, not nice to eat, but the flan was nice. Really good considering is a tourist destination. We go back again if we are in the area.
