The waitress seated us and gave us the "Menu del dia" choices on a small menu board.
Two glasses of red wine, basket of bread and a plate of salad was placed on the table. The little dish of garlic mayonnaise was lovely with the fresh bread.
First course.... My wife had the Potato and Fish. She thought it was really nice. I had the Tortilla. Lovely with bread.
Second course.... My wife had the Fish. She found the dish very tasty. I had the house Hamburger. Two patties with fries
Desert course.... My wife had the Flan and I had the Custard Tart.
To finish my wife had a Cafe Solo and I had a Cortado.
Overall the food was really good.
Total cost was twenty eight euro which we paid by bank card.
Dec 2022.... We were visiting the area in our motorhome and decided to look for a "menu del dia" after a morning of walking the promenade and enjoying the sea views. We used google to find this restaurant. The reviews were a mixed bag but decided to give it a try. This restaurant is on the main road through the area and there are some outside tables. When we arrived it wasn't at all busy.

First course.... My wife had the "Macarrones"" (macaroni with chicken in tomato sauce). She thought it was nice. I had the "Flauta de Pollo y Queso" (wrapped pancake with chicken and cheese). The chicken was processed chicken squares and the dish was very dry. I didn't really taste the cheese.
Second course.... My wife had the "Salchichas Frankfurt Caseras" (homemade sausages with french fries). 3 sausages on the plate with fries. She found the dish tasty. I had the "Hamburguesa Casera" (homemade burger with french fries). 2 burger patties with fries. It was ok. I needed the ketchup and mustard sauce for flavour.
Desert course.... My wife had the "Tarta de Coco" (coconut tart) which she found nice and not too sweet. It was similar to a cheese cake. I had the "Natillas Caseras" (cold custard with a biscuit and cream). It was nice.
To finish my wife had a Cafe Solo and I had a Cortado.
Overall the food was ok if simply presented but good value. The waitress was friendly and recommended the dishes my wife had. The restaurant was modern and clean.

Fuimos a comer por recomendación con unos amigos,pero el problema llega con la señora q comanda,le pusieron a mi hija un huevo a la plancha achicharrado, negro y le dije q si me lo podía cambiar y se lo llevó y me volvió a traer otro igual o el mismo,y le dije q estaba igual y que eso amarga y me dijo q eso era porque el huevo estaba hecho en la plancha y le dije q yo tb trabajo en la hostelería y que eso sale así porque no estaba la plancha limpia q le dijera al cocinero q la limpiará porque eso así no se debe de sacar a un cliente y es ay cuando la señora entra en cólera y me dice q yo no le tengo que dar opciones a su cocinero,que ante todo tenía que tener educación y respeto cuando yo no le falte el respeto en ningún momento y me dijo q si quería ay tenía la puerta, que ellos llevan 40 años en el sector, pues déjame decirte que si llevas 40 años en el sector,eso no son formas de tratar a un cliente y menos por un simple huevo que era para una niña y que si llevas 40 años trabajando en la hostelería sabes q eso no debería haber salido fuera de cocina porq dudo q tú te comas eso así,o mucho menos se lo darías...

Hemos pedido todos menú por 13 euros el menú. Nada más llegar te ponen una ensalada que me pareció para mi gusto muy rica, yo lo entendí como cortesía de la casa, como si digamos una tapa. El menú incluyen muchisimos platos variados y ricos a todos por igual, una bebida (jarras de cerveza de medio litro y bien rica) y postres super variados también (yo me pedí tarta de coco pero había muchisima variedad). El camarero que nos atendió muy agradable, le pedí agua (vengo de granada y se me olvida que aquí el agua de grifo no se bebe) y no me trajo una botella sino agua en un vaso que no me cobró. El servicio muy muy rápido. En general vamos 5 estrellas en todos los sentidos, recomiendo al 100%. PD: he pedido una manchada con leche fría y me la han traído con leche fría, hito histórico en un bar porque siempre que pido algo con leche fría me la traen...
