Serena Café Bar — Restaurant in Roquetas de Mar

Didn't have food so can't comment. Did visit twice for drinks, not many bars in the area had Estrella on tap. First time the waitress was cheerful and the atmosphere was acceptable. Decided to go back and admittedly the place was busy but on entering the male staff member who appeared to be the manager asked "how many?" in a less that friendly tone, we saw and empty table and sat down. A different waitress came over and took our drinks order and was cheerful friendly and happy. When she brought the order she had misheard and brought a copa rather that a medio-litro, which was easily and quickly rectified no problem. Quite soon after that the manager took her aside by her arm and appeared to be telling her off. After which she looked quite unhappy. The action of the manager was quite unnecessary, bullying and ruined the experience as well upsetting the waitress concerned. We didn't go back and won't until the bully concerned is no longer there, as a repeat performance would probably result in a direct confrontation. We support the staff but not...

Just don’t understand how we’ve lived here for 5 years and never really got to know this bar much. It’s off the main road so you don’t just drop on it and we didn’t know it did barbecue tapas until recently. The bbq is every midday and evening service in summer and weekends after the middle of September. The food is really good quality, big choice of tapas, service excellent, quick and friendly, good range of quality drinks, good prices, spotlessly clean including the toilets, nice staff, lovely big covered terrace. Appears that they do a menú del dia and gluten free beer as well according to their website, and open for breakfast. Very hard working and the best is, it’s Romanian so there is mici. (Only wish they did more Romanian food like mamaliga, pomana and samarles, that would be the cherry on top of the cake)....

Buenas tardes ! De antemano ..Deseo lo mejor y espero que así sea ,de corazón. Mi experiencia ,siendo vecino y residente en la urba desde que todo esto era un solar No fue demasiado satisfactoria .. La primera vez genial la brasa ..pero queda patente que la carne a subido ..(conozco todos todos los bares de roquetas ) y hamburguesas de ese tamaño ...ni de buey !! La segunda fuy con mi chika a 40 min ..del cierre !!! Y su excepcional camarero no m dio ni posibilidad de decirle que solo serían dos tapas frías!!no nos propuso ninguna posibilidad .. La tercera (15:15h) y más de lo mismo ...(que ya iban a cerrar ) Expreso mi sorpresa ...por qué hoy mismo he visto desde mi balcón como servían más tarde de dicha hora Dicho eso !! Espero todo lo mejor para el negocio...
