Update: AVOID! FOOD POISONING!

We went here years ago when it had a different owner. Back then they had amazing dishes. Now though, not so much.

We ordered the seafood paella for two persons. We were told it takes about 30 minutes to prepare which is to be expected for a good paella. It was served after 15 minutes. At first glance it looked amazing, but it quickly turned into a disappointment. The rice had exploded in a sea of bland broth. There was no saffron in there whatsoever. I tried two mussels and spat them out. They had the worst taste of decay and looked off. There was no soccarat at all. This ladies and gentleman, was an insult to all paella's and Spanish cuisine. It basically was a rice soup of the worst kind. Time will tell if this dish causes food poisoning for me.

The service was good. Friendly waiters and quick with drinks.

Update: I only had breakfast today, then went to Mar I vent for dinner. After having eaten there I began to feel nauseous 3 hours after. I vomited multiple times during the night and have stomach cramps now in the morning. I think it could have been much worse had I finished the plate. Luckily I only had a little bit of the paella. DO...

Had a really lovely lunch opposite the bay of Roses Spain. The service was great and friendly even though I don’t speak Spanish and I had the best salad I have had since I left Australia. It was absolutely beautiful with their three course menu €22 I had the salad with goat cheese nuts salad and I think a fig jam on top absolutely delicious. I also had the veal, chips and salad and for the desert course. I had an orange cake which tasted very much like a bread and butter pudding like my mum used to make with orange zest, eggs and milk, baked I think, sooo good with coffee. Great little find, It’s very popular but really worth it. Many thanks, Linda...

A wonderful find. The best hamburger I have tasted...Hamburger Roses...so good I went back a second day just for that. Hand-cut fresh chips were perfect too. Very friendly, patient and obliging staff. The prices are very reasonable as well....not overpriced like many other restaurants here. An excellent place to eat for lunch or dinner....it's not too big and busy so it has a personal touch from the...

Situated along Roses' bustling Main Street, this restaurant boasts a cozy terrace overlooking the beach. Their drinks and appetizers shine with excellence. Regrettably, the entrecote steak I ordered turned out disappointingly tough and marbled with veins. I was still billed for the dish despite not eating it at all.

Exactly what we needed after a long day of cycling the Mediterranean coast of France and Spain. Had the paella and Caesar salad, both good big portions and delicious. Facing the beach, although it was night so we couldn’t see. The sangria is delicious as well, a little spicy and sweet and yummy.
