A very cute family-owned restaurant run by 4 siblings. Vicent - one of the brothers - ran the front of house and was a very charming and welcoming host. He told us briefly of the restaurants history and made us feel at home. His sister prepared a hearty paella made from fish and meat broth. Beware the paella is quite heavy, but absolutely gorgeous. Vicent also advised that it’s a food more fitting for lunch. Nevertheless it was delicious. The photos and paintings, and all the small details in the interior tell a story of love and passion, the city and travels of the owners, which all contribute so much to the ambiance of the restaurant. At the end of our meal we felt more as if we had dined in Vicents family’s home, rather than a restaurant. Read moreOur friend who lives in Sa, Pobla recommended this restaurant to us and it was a great experience.
A small restaurant in a side Street in Sa Pobla. Fortunately our friend had made a lunchtime reservation for us as the restaurant is very popular. The decor is traditionally styled with pretty curtains and art work on the walls.
There was a choice of 2 starters, 2 mains and 2 desserts. Bread olives and water were included in the price of the meal.
We chose squid ink spaghetti with roasted pumpkin and a creamy sauce, whilst others in our group chose a fish soup. Both starters were delicious. The main courses were either lomo with an almond sauce and sautéed potatoes or grilled sepia with salad . We all chose the lomo which was so tender and the almond sauce was delicious. For desert we chose puddin which was also delicious. We will definitely return to this...
Read moreAbsolutely great food. I was with a party of 9 - 6 of them very picky kids. All the dishes very amazing, authentic and even our pickiest eaters couldn’t resist to taste them all. We are in Mallorca for only 5 days but I will be back again on...
