Restaurante Pizzeria Plaça Vuit — Restaurant in sa Pobla

Visited off season (January, Saturday lunch) so there was plenty of seating. Took a while to be served, but service was friendly and the food was good. The house wine was only 3.5 EUR, which worried me slightly, but it was actually very nice, and we would have stayed for another had we not had somewhere else to be.

Not exceptional, so not worth a detour to visit, but a great location (even better in summer, I imagine) so a great option if you're looking for food or drink whilst in Sa Pobla.

From mid-morning, it gets the sun if you're sat outside: great in winter, might not be so ideal in summer.

We visited at breakfast time. Mallorca isn’t big on breakfast. It appears that they are using coffee and pastry people. Still, they made me a delicious ham and cheese sandwich despite it being culturally too early. We also had a cortado and a latte. I made life difficult by asking for decaf “discafinado” but they managed that too. Service was friendly and fast. They also spoke English which helped as I don’t speak Mallorcan and my Spanish is imperfect.

Our local friend told us they serve very excellent Italian...

I’m so disappointed, it’s mine and my boyfriend’s last night in Majorca and we have a very early flight to catch. We thought to get a pizza takeaway from this place and eat it home. We got home to find out it was completely inedible, the dough was overly salty, the toppings were so cheap and gross, some very salty salami and bacon was pure fat. I don’t know about the other dishes but the pizza there was really terrible. Couldn’t eat it...
