La Capella de Can Gambús — Restaurant in Sabadell

Located in a beautiful old chapel set in a wide open green space, this vegetarian restaurant has options to lounge outside or eat inside the cosy relaxed interior which we did. The artichoke and mutabel & pitta pieces starters were tasty (although the artichoke is a little challenging to get to the fleshy parts). We then opted for the baked Aubergine with Goats cheese and the Ravioli veggie tartlet as mains - both were well cooked and seasoned with the right sauces. Local dry white worked well to wash them down. Dessert was an exquisite chocolate coulant with hazelnut ice cream. Cortados , gentle music and sprightly service by a couple of Argentinian waiters all under a 100 Euros (including tips) for two - who could ask for more? Highly recommended for a high quality...

Great place, good food taste and quality but very poor service. We eat the 21 euros menu that was good but they took 1h between started and main course in between waitress come to ask if we wanted coffee 😂😂😂, then they realized that not even the main course was given... They moved quick but the overgine was then not correct, goat cheese was not melted, the onion still cold, disaster.... At the end you see great food taste/quality but once this happens you think 🤔 how they can mess up something great. Place is great and I want to give another chance as I believe that...

El lloc és molt bonic i el servei molt atent. Dit això, vaig a valorar el menjar, ja que és un restaurant. Potser hi donaria una altra oportunitat al servei a la carta, però vam fer un menú de grup i el menjar és força justet. El mini civet d'avocat i mango bo, la presentació potser la que més em va agradar. El gotet de gaspatxo de meló molt bo, hagués apostat per més quantitat i treure algun dels altres plats que ni fu ni fa. L'hummus soset i el pa de pita podia estar més tendre, més que cruixent em va semblar duret. Les olives de kalamata boníssimes, això sí. Les patates fregides congelades i força dolentes. No entenc com en un lloc on aposten per bio, eco, proximitat, tenen aquest tipus de productes que fa baixar el nivell i molt. Les croquetes banyadetes d'oli feien una mica d'angunieta. Si són casolanes, podien tenir curar del fregit perquè les desmereix molt. Les de gongonzola tenien un sabor força estrany. La mini coca de bolets i brie era molt bona, però la presentació feia impossible menjar-la sense que es desmuntés tota a trossos. La mini moussaka ( que era una rodanxa d'esberginia amb el sofregit d'heura a sobre) , mini pizza potser més adient, no va agradar gaire en general, van sobrar i era una per persona. I el postre, que podia haver estat de notable alt, es va quedar en un aprovat. Un coulant de xocolata fred per dins, al que li faltaven uns minuts de forn...el gelat d'avellana molt bo, tot i que el contrast fred, calor no hi era perquè tot era fred. Una llàstima. I es van servir tots així, no era el meu en concret. No entraré a valorar el preu del menú perquè desconec la qualitat de molts dels productes, però jo no tornaria a repetir un menú...
