Morabito Salou Restaurant & Cocktail — Restaurant in Salou

I thought the presentation was good so we went for dinner. The waiter was personable but up-sold everything, a more expensive wine would be better, different prawns would be better, different fish and everything more expensive. Not that I particularly mind this but I didn't like any of his recommendations. This is the first place I didn't like the prawns and the fish was disappointing. However my wife, who didn't listen to his recommendations, was happy with her fish. Overall it wasn't terrible by any means, however everywhere else we ate in the area was better. After dinner I used the toilet. I'm male and believe me, I'm not fussy. When I say the public street toilets nearer the port are cleaner I am not exaggerating. It was one of our favourite restaurants in that area- a simple old style place with a good lunch offer and the best black mussels in marinera source. Every year visiting Salou we went there. We got quite disappointed on our last visit. New, strange design -black some kind of gods statutes all around the place and one very big outside waiting for the clients. Strange choice of the interior - what has Asian gods to do with a Spanish food restaurant? We decided not to go there anymore as this black Asian gods ( at least 3 statues) is not our favourite company. And then there was also a head of wooden zebra and other animals from Africa. Lovely Dinner by the Sea at Morabito

I had a wonderful evening dining at Morabito in Salou. The location is perfect – right by the beach, offering a beautiful view of the sea as the sun sets. The atmosphere is relaxed, with soft lighting and a breezy, Mediterranean vibe.

We started with some refreshing cocktails, which were perfectly mixed and served with a smile. For dinner, we had a variety of Mediterranean dishes – the seafood was incredibly fresh, and the flavors were authentic and well-balanced.
