Mas Ferrat — Restaurant in San Antonio de Benagéber

Located at a small equestrian centre, off the beaten track, the menu is a mix of the usual (paella, arroz, meat, fish etc), but decent quality. Unfortunately the venison I ordered was finished, so I opted for the saddle of lamb, which was slow roasted and pretty good.

The service though is abysmal. There was only one member of staff who was turned out professionally, the rest look like they'd spent the morning cleaning out the stables before starting work in the restaurant. Trying to get eye contact is near impossible and when I finally DID get hold of someone, my second glass of wine never materialised.

All in all, I found a lunch priced at €122 for three people to be overpriced given the lacklustre service and average,...

Very dirty place. Unfortunately I can't give any other opinion. It could be a really awesome place with great concept combining nature, animals, outdoor activities for young and old, great place to go with kids... The restaurant is dirty..same as smelly and dirty toilets. Don't even try to use outside toilets cause you will get sick. Inside toilets are terrible too but you have to use it anways. Tables and chairs are old and dirty. Messy place in all options. Very pity. I have been there 3 times to give a try. After first visit not happy. The second visit was not better and the third time was a birthday party event and we were the guests . The stuff doing their best but unfortunately place and organisation...

Escribo respecto a un cumpleaños - almuerzo que intentamos celebrar el pasad 31 de Diciembre. Dado que el grupo era de 17 mayores y 6 niños lo organizamos con dos o tres días de anterioridad. NO ME QUEDE PARA NADA SATISFECHO MAS BIEN POR LO QUE DESCRIBO A CONTINUACIÓN CON UN MAL SABOR DE BOCA Y MAL ATENTIDO ....La cronología más o menos es la siguiente: Cuando programo la visita 2 días antes indico fecha y hora (12 AM) ...Me envían carta de almuerzos etc. Día 30 me llama una chica a las 17,40 y me dicen que a las 11 horas cierran cocina ...le indico que yo lo había informado por escrito ..que venía gente de fuera , que ...quedamos de estar a las 11. A las 17.48 me llama Cesar el dueño y me dice que no que a las 11 cierran ...obligado a cambiar programación porque de lo contrario tenía a horas del día buscarme la vida. Llegamos con agobio, sacan almuerzo de bocadillos ....y vamos pidiendo ..pedimos tapas 4 de bravas y 4 de puntillas Todo era tención por la hora Llevamos una tarta y pedimos platos para servirla ...nos dicen que si pero ATENCION " QUE COBRAN 1,5 € POR CADA CORTE DE TARTA" asombrados no, lo siguiente pido sólo 12 cortes (18€ por lo que sea..) A pagar 330 € , me cobran 18 adultos aunque eran 17 almuerzos (un hijo mío es vegano y llevo su bocadillo), 12€ un platito de puntillas, 5,5 € baso de martini para mi después de lo de la hora agobio ...pagar y ya Nos levantamos de la mesa y salimos a los columpios ...mi cuñado colgó un columpio porque un niño le había dado a otro ...el dueño salió como si de niños se tratará que nos dejaba estar ahí ...bueno UNAS FORMAS ... EN FIN UNA MALA EXPERIENCIA, AGOBIO Y LO DE LA TARTA NO TIENE NOMBRE ....NO VUELVO, ME Y NOS SENTIMOS...
