We live in Lanzarote and take two short breaks away each year.We are a staying in Aguimes.Yesterday we ventured out to Castillo De Romeral and went to Mama Data for lunch because the reviews read very well.We tried the cold meat and parmesan salad, which was excellent;it had crème of Balsamic vinegar over it which made it very tasty. My husband ordered a mixed fish and seafood dish which was also delicious.I just ordered a prawn cocktail which was a disaster.I could only eat one of the prawns as it was so tasteless,si I asked my husband to try one and and he agreed,so I just ate some of the lettuce and apple, and left about fourteen prawns. When the waitress came to clear the table she asked how everything was and we told her that everything, including the wine, bread rolls and fresh alioli had been excellent with the exception of the prawn dish, and we explained why it had been left. The waitress said she would tell the chef.Another waiter came with two carajillos and asked us if everything had been okay.We repeated what we had said to the waitress. When the bill came they had still charged us for the prawn cocktail(7.20€)As a consequence we did not leave a tip,and we usually tip at least 10%,which was a pity because it was not the waiting staff's fault. We would have come again today, but for this happening. This is only the second time that this sort of thing has happened in our four years in...

If you're in the area I'd reccomend looking elsewhere first before coming here. Food...

Once we were seated inside the building, there were two staff looking after us attentively. Drinks and food orders were taken and served very quickly.
Thank you for your service, we'll definitely...
