We were pleasantly surprised by the large selection of desserts as soon as we entered this place. We chose a table we liked and scanned the QR code to choose other dishes from the kitchen. The cafe was more than half empty, so we got a good seat with a view. We waited about 29 minutes, no one approached us, so we had to go look for the waitress in person. As soon as we approached and asked if we could place an order, she replied that she would be right there.. it took about 15 minutes. When the waitress finally came, we also failed to place an order. If there is a menu in English, why doesn't she understand anything even by pointing directly at the cafe menu and indicating the quantity with her fingers. The waitress didn't understand what we wanted, until she finally said that the kitchen was closed. Anyway, we got two delicious coffees with liqueur (I recommend) and ice cream which is delicious, but has nothing to do with the picture (6.9€ pink ice cream assortment with fruits and watermelon) we got the usual assortment with orange slices and apples and a couple of fizzy tubes. We waited another 25 minutes for our order, which resulted in, as soon as the order was brought, we asked to pay immediately, they said it would come right away, and of course - it didn't come. We had to go look for somewhere to pay in person again and wait an additional 10 minutes at the cash register to pay. I was ignored more than once, which is very unpleasant. This cafe lacks employees and normal, normal service. It would also be great if the waiter could understand the menu at his workplace, if he doesn't understand English (in my opinion he must be able to do it if the menu is in that language) and if he doesn't, at least when you point to what you want, he will understand. After all, the place is good, and I have no doubt that the food is delicious. The cafe is spacious and cozy, but the...
Read moreThis is a great little place. We went there for the views, breakfast and coffee... We ordered egg breakfasts (scrambled and french omelet with bacon) , fresh squeezed orange juice, coffee and tea. They were all great. All with a view of the ocean below. The service was very friendly and quick. There is even a small parking lot right beside the cafe ... So roughly 8 cars can park conveniently.
Then I ordered a burger which was also great. And we then explored their cakes and pastries... At least a dozen choices and several of them freshly baked in-house.
In fact, the only one small issue was the stale breads with the egg breakfasts. But I'm sure that isn't always the case. The dry bread was a very insignificant part of our meal and experience ... So overall for price, value, taste from a venue like this......
Read moreI wish I could give more than 5 stars to this place, it's so incredibly stunning, from the location itself with a view that is spectacular, to the service that is spot on, Anja made us feel at home, she is definitely awesome and last but absolutely not least the food 😍.
Coffees, Orange juice, the surtido de pan con mermelada (they not only bake their own bread but they also produce their own jams and marmalade) the maracuyá one was a nectar, also the strawberry one was super good.
And then let's talk about The most amazing Club Sandwich with chicken, something like poetry, and also the most amazing Apple Cake with nata artesanal.
Anja told us this is the first Melita café, it's already the 3rd generation that runs it, and then all the other Palmelita café came.
It's really a...
