Tasca El Rincón del Cafetal — Restaurant in San Cristóbal de La Laguna

I went here with friends because we saw a good rating for the restaurant. I acknowlege it's a superb restaurant.

We have taken langoustine salad, crêpe del mar, croqueta, queso asado, fried calamari, tiramisu, crêma del yoghourt. The food were very good and special mention for the calamari, it was one of the best I've eaten, so excellent.

As for the service: so friendly and warmful, always respectul and here if yoy need help. Also, very clean place. After ordering so many meals, waiter even replace our plates and ustensils so we get again clean ones for the next meal.

As for the waiting time, it was fine. I forgot about the cooker and he has done a really good job. There is no english menu but if you have any question, waiter answers you as much as he can in english otherwise spanish. We could communicate with him even with my spanish skills learnt 20+ years ago in school.

When we wanted to pay, my friend slipped away his credit card under the bench. It took some time to find it.and waiter came to the rescue. We even had to move the table, checked under it, checked the surrounding and again the bench. Funny experience.

I recommend this place and would have given a michelin...

Food was delicious. We had tenderlion with caramelized apples and crepes with sea food. Combination of meat with those apples was amazing. Creppes were surprise for us as well. Desserts were also great. The waiter was very friendly and helpful.

Place is relatively small, when we arrived there was only one table availible, rest was reserved, so we were lucky to get a table without reservation, but for next time i would definetly call first.

Fenomenalne jedzenie - świeże, najwyższej jakości składniki, genialnie zestawione i przygotowane. W ciągu tylko dwóch wizyt - niestety odkryliśmy pod koniec pobytu tą restaurację - we dwójkę zjedliśmy 10 potraw - każda przepyszna, oryginalna i nie udało się nam wybrać która lepsza:). Najlepsza restauracja w której jedliśmy na Teneryfie - trzeba by było innym dawać 3-4 gwiazdki żeby oddać jakość tej pięcioma - wobec czego poza dwoma które oceniłam wcześniej nie dałam juz żadnych ocen (tamte zasługują na ocenę w stosunku do jedzenia serwowanego w okolicy Teide). Trudno zaparkować w okolicy ale zdecydowanie warto szukać miejsca....
