La Terrazza Italiana — Restaurant in San Fulgencio

It's a shame to go from 4-stars to 1-star in a couple of years. Me and my friend was there in june ordering the seafood pasta. The pasta that came out was probably cooked in the same water the used for cooking all the pasta for that evening without chaning water, it tasted only starch and chlorine (like taking a sip in the communal pool), the seafood was tasteless, chewy and looked really sorry to. We did not say anything, ordered a pizza for share and the girl who took the plates asked if the food was no good, we told her that it wasn't - then the italian gigolo from hell, started to make a scene, telling us that he serves 40 similar pastas every evening and it never get send back, he even showed us a empty plate from some sorry person that ate their food, shouting that everybody loves his pasta. Really strange and surreal feeling and i told him that we have been going there for 12 years or so, and that he knows me and i asked if he wanted to keep on talking jibbrish, he left for a while but when the bill was to be settle, he appeared with no remorse and a hefty 77 EURO bill for 2 uneatable pastas, one pizza and a bottle of wine. So, 1st impressions were - this place is trying (but failing) to be posh. It just seemed quite pretentious and amataeurish. Service was (at best) average. The food was (at best) average. Far too much salt in their pasta - very poor for an Italian restaurant. The prices were well above average. We have had food in adjacent restaurants which are far better, far less pretentious and far cheaper. They charged 2 euros for some parmesan, which we had to request along with pepper. We ate here tonight and the waiter got my 2 year olds meal wrong twice we asked for spaghetti Bol and she got carbonara we asked for bolognese and then he came back with penne. We ate early as our two year old goes to bed about 7.30. It was like they didn’t want us there and we were an inconvenience to them.
