Gotham City Grill — Restaurant in San Martín de la Vega

We grabbed a meal here at 11pm last night, 19th July, so there was no queue. As a coeliac, to be able to order a gluten free menu from a touchscreen here is helpful, as it is painful trying to request gluten free food when you don't speak Spanish. I had the chicken leg and potato, it came sealed out of the microwave and was piping hot so that was good. I also had the gluten free nuggets, they were fine and hot. The server did try to be helpful despite my non-existent Spanish and his limited English. We managed, and at least hunger was sated. This is average fast food and overpriced but it was way WAY better than The (woeful) Daily Planet up the avenue. Where’s Batman when you need him? This restaurant was in desperate need of a hero. The burger bun was so stale it could’ve doubled as a weapon in Gotham’s underworld, and the meat tasted about as authentic as a Two-Face coin toss. The fries managed to escape unscathed—just okay, nothing worth calling Commissioner Gordon about. But the donut… let’s just say I left wishing the Joker had stolen it before it ever reached my table. Por varios motivos: entre las 2.30h y las 5h está demasiado lleno, hay mucho atasco y larga cola en las máquinas para hacer el pedido (nosotros tuvimos q esperar unos 50min), solo hay 5 maquinas y están concentradas en un punto de la sala. Luego tienes q esperar de nuevo para que tú comida esté lista (nosotros estuvimos 40 min). Y ya para rematar, la gente se adelanta a coger y reservar mesas mientras algún acompañante está haciendo el pedido en las máquinas o la cola para recoger la comida, es decir, montones de mesas sin gente comiendo, solo reservando la mesa. Literalmente nosotros comimos y vimos más de 4 mesas con gente que desde el inicio hasta que salimos seguían reservando la mesa y nadie comía. Me parece suuuuuper mal, DEBERIAN PROHIBIR QUE SE PUEDAN RESERVAR MAS DE UN SITIO, PUES SOLO ES UNA PERSONA LA QUE PUEDE ESTAR HACIENDO LAS COLAS VARIAS. Precios elevados para la calidad y la cantidad de la comida. 24 euros en total. Menos mal que tienen opciones sin gluten aptas...
