With friends we have undertaken to search out good restaurants along the coast. Last night we visited Thai Si Siam, Thai restaurant for the first time. We were a little surprised when we arrived that the waitress seemed shocked that we had made a reservation. A table hadn't been prepared so we were offered to sit wherever we wanted, we chose and waited for the table to be cleaned and menu's to be delivered. This took a little while, when the menu's arrived they were somewhat worse for wear with the pages falling out. We over looked this as the garden was quite pleasant to sit in, with a number of plants and lights, after a while we had to ask for a drinks menu, when we received the drinks menu, we ordered three Mojito's and one zero alcohol San Francisco, again after a while the drinks arrived, we might aswell have ordered slush puppy drinks as they certainly weren't good. We ordered vegetable spring rolls for for four as starters, they were tasty, as you would expect. Four main courses ordered one arrived, some wait for the other three, food was of reasonable standard. we didn't have desert. Overall restaurante Thai Si Siam didn't meet our expectations, staff need training in the importance of customer service, drinks need reviewing for quality of contents. Food is of a reasonable standard, that could certainly be elevated with...

We've been wanting to try this place for a while now and finally managed to and happy to say that we weren't left with a bad taste :-). The food was delicious. We tried the Chicken Satay, the tom yum soup, the beef massaman with white rice and the Pad Kee Mao(Noodles).

The chicken satay was the only dish that disappointed. Just small pieces of chicken on the four sticks. Thankfully the peanut sauce saved the dish.

The soup was perfect, tangy, spicy and everything one would expect from a tom yum. The beef curry was delicious, meat was succulent. We got it made spicy. A little less oil and it would've been perfect.

The Pad Kee Mao was a good choice. Loaded with many veggies and chicken, had a unique taste but again, we did feel it a bit oily

All in all a great experience and definitely worth a visit. We'll be returning for sure. Great...

We had a fabulous meal. The food was amazing and the staff excellent. I have only one observation...as much as we like cats, we don’t want them around our ankles begging for food. Upon finishing I had left a couple of pieces of chicken. The waitress, who was very good, came to clear our plates but on seeing my left food proceeded to pick out the chunks of chicken in front of us and then feed the cats right next to the table!!! You can’t run a restaurant this way, no wonder the animals are there begging! I hope they change how the operate with regards to the animals because everything else is great. We like cats and don’t want them going hungry, but there is a simple solution here....staff should feed them away from the restaurant tables...

Authentic, Heartwarming Dining Experience Tucked away on the quieter side of Sotogrande, this charming family-run restaurant is a true hidden gem. From the moment you walk in, you’re greeted with warmth and genuine hospitality that instantly makes you feel at home. The food is absolutely delightful—fresh, flavorful, and cooked with love, offering a welcome break from the typical overpriced, overly fancy spots in the area. If you’re craving a more down-to-earth, soul-satisfying meal in a relaxed and friendly setting, this place is a must-visit. Highly recommended!

We popped in to order a takeaway. We had the spring rolls and a beer while we waited. The food was very nice indeed, especially the Panang curry and the duck dish that was recommended to us (number 30). We will definitely be back, this time to eat in as we saw some fish dishes on there that seemed better to have in restaurant rather than taken away in a plastic box! Thank you for finally providing a decent Asian cuisine in the area as we have tried eveything already and they’ve never been as good!
