Bar LANAU — Restaurant in Sant Esteve de Palautordera

Been passing this place many times on way for a walk in the forest. Finally made a stop here for lunch/snack before next hike.

Parking - plenty available on opposite side of the road along the fields.

Croquettas ham - the best I think I ever had.

Patatas bravas - homemade and super nice - a little too little sauce for me but did not try ask for more but sure they would have let me have more.

Nice sunny terrace with space.

Bathroom nice and clean.

Red wine of the house acceptable and nice and cold.

Staff - girl very friend + the guy in the bar selling me an extra coffee.

Other guests had dogs on the terrace - so pets allowed on terrace.

Will be back...

It is a relative simple bar with restaurant. But very friendly people. Good prices and the food is ok. When I was here I asked for a potion jamon serano and they suggested to take pan tomate with it. Together with a portion calamaris with fresh salad and a glass of local red wine I had a good diner. Not for people who want to go for a culinairy evening but for those who like...

Avui hem anat al bar Lanau amb la idea de veure el partit del Barça, però, malauradament, es va acabar cancel·lant. Tot i això, vam decidir quedar-nos a sopar, i va ser una gran decisió.

És un bar de tota la vida, sense artificis ni pretensions, però amb una essència autèntica que el fa especial. El menú és senzill però efectiu: entrepans generosos, ben fets i a un preu molt raonable. El pa estava cruixent i els ingredients de qualitat, cosa que es troba menys del que hauria en aquest tipus de locals.

L’ambient també acompanya. Un lloc ideal per anar amb amics, passar una bona estona i gaudir d’un àpat sense complicacions. El servei, ràpid i proper, arrodoneix l’experiència.
