Holy guacamole is this place overpriced! If you’re planning on having dinner here, I hope you’re still full from lunch because the portions are inappropriately small. You can’t tell by the price though, because you are paying for probably double what they’re giving you. The food is good, but I hope you’re comfortable with spending double to eat enough to be full. I’m attaching pictures, it might be hard to see the size, so go by how big a jalapeño slice is. It’s cute that they make the chips by hand, but the amount you get (see photo) for the price you pay (3,50€) is a robbery. Those little tubs of extras (see photos) ranged from 1,50€ for basically half a shot glass of pico de gallo (which was mostly juice!- I mean come on, it’s chopped onion, tomato, a touch of cilantro and lime juice, how are you seriously going to charge that much), to an eye-watering 3,50€ for guacamole. Is it good? Yes. Is it justified by the prices? No. Would I go back? Under no circumstance would I pay that much (8,10€) for three tacos the size of the palm of my hand again in my life. Oh, and the burrito was 9€. What an absolute shame. I hope they fix their serving sizes, or they will continue to disappoint...
Read more"Mother's" enchiladas in salsa verde had very authentic flavors and a nice presentation but lacked fullness and is served alone without anything else. The burritos were also served very plain and quite small. The salads are only there to fill up the menu. Service is pretty slow and the terrace on the street is not heated or protected from breezes so a bit chilly on cooler evenings. As far as Mexican food goes, someone controlling the menu definitely knows how to cook authentic food with real ingredients (e.g. queso blanco) but somehow the dishes were still a bit...
Read moreJuan was great at service despite how busy it was. The habanero chips were the best I have ever tasted; I am originally from Texas and have had chips in many places including Mexico. My wife is so so on Seitan (she is vegetarian) but absolutely loved the vegetarian tacos. My chicken enchiladas were amazing. I have lived in Spain 5 years and some of the best Mexican food I have experienced. Will definitely be going back on a...
