Restaurant Sabors — Restaurant in Sant Feliu de Guíxols

Food was averarage in taste despite OK presentation, with use of edible flowers in every dish, making it unrelated to recipees. Kids menu is not made with fresh produce but from frozen (deep fried) croquetas and fries. I wouldn’t say food is too bad, neither specially good.

Very surprised they wanted to charge 3.5€ for tap water served in a re-used bottle. When I indicated this, they pointed out a tap osmosis machine (which uses tap water all the same). Tap water must be offered for free by law in Spain, at restaurants. Otherwise it must be mineral water in sealed/unoppened bottles. They accepted to remove water from bill.

We overheard the waiters’ work discussions in the background. Place was OK but no particularly interesting atmosphere. Waiters were not bad, but not very well co-ordinated.

Value for money, we ate at better...

Today I had lunch at Sabors and was pleasantly surprised by the location on the passing de mar, by the elegance of their outside terrace and inside restaurant rooms. The items of my choice from the daily menu were excellent: be for taste or presentation. The Restaurant presents a choice of menu items more in line with the international gourmet cuisine than the usual Catalan tradition. I definitely recommend it to...

Es una buena elección tanto para comer como para cenar. Tienen una carta de entrantes con una mezcla de cocina de todo el mundo ...el nombre está muy bien escogido! La carta es completa con muchos entrantes y unas propuestas de segundos con carne y pescado. Suficiente para elegir. Las raciones están bien y la presentación también es bonita. Esta vez elegí el ceviche qure recomiendo, está muy bueno, la ración es generosa eso si, pica un poco para mi gusto pero esta delicioso. Las gyozas de carne de pato también están muy buenas. Quizás lo que menos me ha enamorado de todos los platos pedidos ha sido el Txangurro con guacamole . La mezcla de sabores no es muy evidente ya que el guacamole creo que invade el sabor del cangrejo pero aún así estaba muy rico. De postre hay que pedir si o si la tarta Eleanore, una receta de la casa con una base de queso alemán, una capa de mermelada de melocotón y chocolate negro ...bueníiiisimo.
