Restaurant Món — Restaurant in Sant Fruitós de Bages

Mixed feelings about my experience at Món. If we assume this is the "training" restaurant for L'O, the Michelin star in the same building, then it is a great value for money although you shall live with some service mistakes. Otherwise, if this is a separate concept, then they probably need to review service and product to be a bit more consistent.

Why? We had a closed menu where you are able to pick and choose among few starters and few mains plus dessert. Quality of food was exceptional for some dishes but just average for some others. Service was quite the same: excellent sometimes or silly mistakes few times. This is why all together feels like a training school.

The environment (lux hotel) and the surroundings are great, so it helps to improve the overall experience.

☹️ So far worst dinner during our trip. I don’t know what was going on today if somebody was high or what. We received 3 shrimps with tone of mashed boiled cabbage, literally instant pasta with cheese and ham (Knorr Carbonara). Main course was fish with extremely salty zucchini and Spanish green peppers? I didn’t like desert, but it was more of personal taste. At least we had good vegetable salad as extra starter and really good gin and tonic. We went to this hotel to get some high gastronomy experience after this long covid lockdown. Michelin star restaurant L’Ó was closed, but we’re told that chef cooks in restaurant Món. I’m glad we paid just 80 EUR for this total failure and not 300 EUR for full Michelin...

Una gran decepció per el bateig de la nostre filla. Vaig parlar amb l’encarregat 4 mesos abans i 15 dies abans menú, etc... quan va arribar el dia res del que vàrem quedar.Arribem i vaig demanar trona tal com vem quedar, amb diuen Que es tenien que demanar amb temps cosa que ja u vaig fer per sort apareix una, vem dir de fer pica pica i segon plat a triar portan un pica pica que no era el que vem dir, ens diuen per triar el segon plat només vem poder triar carn o peix el correu que amb van enviar hi havien mes plats per triar.Abans del pastís de la nena vem quedar que faríem una sorpresa a la meva àvia perquè era el seu aniversari vem quedar de Fer un pastís petit per ella, doncs no sabia res ningú ni tenien cap pastís, després amb diuen que tenen un, li treuen un pastís que està mes tort que la torre de Pisa, bueno arriba el pastís de la meva filla i sense bengales ... els i vaig dir si les tenia que portar jo, amb van dir que ja en tenien doncs pastís sense bengales, van portar cava quan ja fèiem els cafes en fi un desastre de bateig, nosaltres erem clients des-de que van obrir però amb aquesta experiència no posaré un peu i sobretot recumanu que no feu cap celebració aquest restaurant perque us decepcionara llàstima del lloc tan...
