Unassuming charm meets a diverse and delightful menu.
Set back from the lively sands of Port de San Miguel, Can Tothom is a delightful surprise, a place where its understated ‘spit and sawdust’ exterior opens up to a world of culinary variety. Here, the menu sings with diversity—from the flavorful, (albeit bit chewy, but lovely battered) calamari to the chef’s curry that pleasantly astonishes, and the house hamburger, generous in size and taste.
Service is a highlight, with multilingual staff bringing a easygoing and welcoming vibe. The interior, boasting a comforting log stove, provides a cozy refuge on those less-than-sunny days. For those dining from Monday to Friday, the hearty ‘Menu del Dia’ offers a taste of local flavors and favorites at a very reasonable price, alongside their seven-day-a-week a la carte options. With fair pricing and pretty good house wine, Can Tothom stands out as a place that balances quality and value.
In essence, Can Tothom is a charming gem, winning hearts not with opulence, but with its genuine approach to good food and easy-going hospitality. If you’re in search of a casual lunch in a beachside setting, especially during winter, without the sting of high prices, Can Tothom is undeniably the...
Read moreIf you are lucky enough to arrive on a day when Marcelo isn’t working, you can have a great meal or drink with a lovely view of the beach. We only needed a table for just over an hour because the children wanted to go to the beach so we went elsewhere and spent £300 on food and Cava. To the owner, Marcelo lost you that extra cover and dinner the next two nights.
Thanks to the owner for your response. Well in that case he also lied about his name. It was last Monday night that we had the ridiculously rude service after enjoying daytime coffees and pastries for...

Although all the outdoor tables had reserved signs on them they found a place for us. My daughter had the goats cheese salad and said it was the best she’d ever had. I had a pasta dish with ‘Mediterranean flavours’ without knowing what to expect. It turned out to be with tomatoes, olives and a generous portion of prawns and was lovely. We knew we wanted to come back but thought we should try some other places first; I wish we hadn’t bothered- we both agreed we should have eaten here every night. We returned for our last night (with a booking this time). My daughter had the same salad again and I had the homemade lasagne which was lovely. The wine & cocktails were...
