This was our third visit to LaKaña during our two week holiday on the island and likely won’t be our last before we fly home! We are blown away by the amazing quality of the food, along with the very efficient and friendly service from all the staff, particularly Marcos. As far as fish goes, this is without question the best we have ever had and they offer a great range of meat dishes, too. The fresh mussels (from Mahón) were simply amazing, both in taste, texture and size. In fact, they literally melted in your mouth! All the desserts are homemade and I can thoroughly recommend the local ‘pudding’. We have no hesitation in recommending LaKaña wholeheartedly to anyone on the island and it will certainly be worth a visit. Do try to book in advance as it is clearly very popular with the locals (always a good sign!) Decided to try a few dishes to share rather than go for the platos del día to get a feel for the place. Overall, chipirones fritos, huevos rotos con jamón, (we ordered them with sobrasada, but never mind!) and tiras de pollo were acceptable. But, they were all small portions for the money. Salsas which accompanied the chipirones and tiras owed a lot to budget catering packs rather than homemade in my opinion. I would give them 6 stars if I could!! I have been in Menorca for 3 days and this place is my favorite meal so far!

Three of us ordered 4 small dishes to share and 2 mains plus a dish of dessert each. We had the BEST shrimp croquettes! It was huge and very delicious. The beef tongue melted in my mouth. And the scallop was also very yummy.
