Sa Fonda — Restaurant in Santa Eulària des Riu

We visited Sa Fonda in Ibiza last night and it was not worth the visit. The male host was one of the most rude people I have ever met (His highlights were giving box dye) he told us that we need to be quiet as it doesn’t fit the vibe of the restaurant. We ordered 1 portion of chips and bread and garlic aioli and they sent 5 portions without checking if that was correct. The waitress was lovely she was the only saving grace of this place. At the end he told us if we weren’t going to buy anything else we needed to leave asap. When the bill came they added 3 extra margaritas to our order and when we asked for it to be removed they didn’t give any explanation or apology. 20,- for a plain vegetable lasagna. Grilled chicken (21,-), was a piece of chicken with no sides, sauce or vegetables. They asked us, like it was an option, but it was a payed add on. 20,- for a children’s grilled chicken… those are prices! Got a free appetiser (meat), which is amazing, but not for a vegetarian who ordered vega. Way too much staff, not many tables occupied. We Google searched 'Paella in Ibiza' and this was the first restaurant that came up... Unfortunately, no Paella to be found here. The outside area of the restaurant is very pretty and 'pinterest' worthy. There is a very large amount of staff walking around. Our food came very fast (too fast for our liking). The food was very expensive and not so good. They put fries in everything and the chicken and meat balls were dry. Great place to come to if you want a nice picture of some dinner tables, but I would not...
