Gourmet Indian & International — Restaurant in Santa Pola

We have a place on Novamar and have eaten at the Gourmet countless times over the years and can count on 1 hand the times it hasn't been absolutely bang on. Chicken Chat Vindaloo Hot followed by Lamb or Chicken Madras. Perfection. July and August you should be booking a table because it does get very very busy. A few times Pammy has had me behind the bar pulling pints. Lovely clean restaurant with lovely friendly staff and Pammy is a lovely man....

I went here with my boyfriend and had a lovely Indian dinner. He had Butter Chicken and I had Rogan Josh with lamb. We also choose to have dessert. Had take away. Food was terrible: sauces had a weird shiny quality to them (too much sugar?) and nan bread was a compact piece of cardboard. I get that alu boxes isn't great for food quality but this was just poor from the start. Only upside is price, but I'd rather pay the double price to get...
