Restaurant Jardin V Buffet Libre — Restaurant in Santa Pola

We have ordered a bunch of dishes to try from the menu. We have been almost given out to that we will have to pay 5 euro for every left dish. The waiter had been very rude and made us feel very uncomfortable as he kept raising his voice and being argumentative. The food was served all together and nobody asked us if we are ready for next meal, we felt being rushed to eat everything ASAP. The greasy meals were served 1st before the sushi. The portions that were brought out were bigger than on the picture. As a result food stayed out on the table for the prolonged period of time and became cold. On top of that dishes that weren’t sushi, were too greasy and resembled more Thai street food rather than whatever they are trying to be. After commenting about grease to the waiter he kept saying that there is nothing wrong with the food. No manners. At the end this turned out as terrible experience with poor hospitality and mediocre 2/5 meals. We felt like we were doing them a favour by coming in,...

This buffet is slightly different to other buffetts I've eaten in, your given a menu that your order from, you can order as much and as many times as you like. Three of us ordered duck pancakes to start... they were absolutely delicious- we each received a full duck breast, with hot pancakes and fresh scallions and cucumber. Best ever ! We then got a selection of mains, each was freshly cooked and tasted amazing. When we were full to the gills, we asked if they could call a taxi for us, the taxi would have been a 30 minute wait, so one of the staff offered to drop us back to our apartment. We gratefully accepted their offer and gave them some money ( against their wishes) to cover the petrol. Service was excellent, food excellent, overall experience excellent, I look forward to a return visit...

My child, parents and myself visited, and only I wanted to eat sushi buffet. I was not allowed to eat sushi buffet unless everyone ate sushi buffet. Either everyone had to eat buffet, or no one could. Not a customer friendly system. The food might be good, I don't know. As the system is in this restaurant now, I never get to find out. We went somewhere else.

Also, this restaurant (Jardin V) have "highjacked" the old page and good ratings from the old Nan Kin II restaurant occupying this place. This new restaurant is not the same...
