A Wonderful Family Dining Experience at Veveos Greek Restaurant
We recently visited Veveos Greek Restaurant as a family group, including three young children and our 8-month-old grandson, and it was a truly memorable experience from start to finish. From the moment we walked in, the staff welcomed us with warmth and genuine friendliness. They even went the extra mile by playing music they knew the children would enjoy, creating a joyful and relaxed atmosphere that made us all feel right at home.
Our daughter-in-law, who is of Greek heritage, guided us through the menu and recommended some of her favourite traditional dishes. Thanks to her suggestions, and the excellent quality of the food, we enjoyed an authentic and delicious Greek meal that delighted everyone at the table.
The variety of starters, including the creamy dips, warm pita bread, and marinated olives, set the tone perfectly. The main dishes were equally impressive the kebabs were flavourful and perfectly grilled, while the moussaka and pastitsio were comforting, hearty, and full of authentic Greek flavour. Each bite was a testament to the care and tradition behind the cooking.
What really stood out, beyond the food, was the family-friendly environment and the thoughtful service. It’s not always easy to dine out with little ones, but Veveos made it an absolute pleasure.
We will definitely be returning and wouldn’t hesitate to recommend Veveos to anyone looking for excellent Greek cuisine in a welcoming, family-oriented setting. A gem of...

We have waited for it for 2 years. Our expectations were high. And… oh boy… they were met!
I’ve lived in Greece for a long time. My name is Greek. We love Greece, we love Greek food. And especially when in Spain you cant get to eat healthy veggies, as they deep fry anything and everything - when we saw the place is open, we went there litterally on their 2nd day.
It was all still a bit “in the air”. They did not have the wine we chose, lamb souvlaki were also missing. So we ordered Greek Salad “para compartir” to start, and then chicken souvlaki, and kofta (soutzouzakia). In short: we loved it! It is so refreshing to be able to eat freshly cut cucumber, tomato or pepper in a restaurant in Spain! Nothing deep fried, nothing greasy, or soaking fat. Good food, good ingredients, cooked by a Greek chef. Just as it should be.
There are little things to improve: e.g.: no wine by caraffe how they would serve all around Greece in kilos (here only available by the bottle). So daily visits are a bit tight. Also some classics are missing: no moussaka, no lamb chops, kleftiko or stifado. But these guys only have just begun. Give them a chance.
Food is really really tasty. I mean it. Go there. Try it. You will...
Read moreCliffnotes: Extremely expensive for store bought "suvlaki" and generic gyros.
The ppl working there are very friendly. But there are a few weird things: TV in the corner is blasting music at max volume. None of the ppl working there seem like they belong or have any experience in running a bar/cafeteria, but they are very friendly nonetheless.
The food: Mmm, this was not good. Not good at all. Suvlakis were very dry and cube-like. Like they came straight from the freezer. They are not grilled, it seems like they have been prepared in a table-grill or in a pan or so.
The gyros was so-so.(Note: The gyros was INSANE expensive. We wanted some gyros as a sidedish. They charged me €40 for 1 plate of gyros. They just charged the price of 3 full gyrosmenus.)
The sauce combo was a little strange, although I liked it, it seemed to be more Romanian instead of Greek.
So unfortunately we were dissapointed and we will not try again.
Update: After being called a liar with bad intentions: 1 star for...
