So Disappointed! We we quite unwelcomed, I suspect when we called in without a reservation. A reservation was quite clearly not required as the restaurant only had 4 people in when we arrived and about 12 when we left. The food was fine although they bought us the wrong order . We made no fuss about this but they made no comment or recompense. After our main course was cleared we had no further contact even though we would have liked a dessert. We all felt like we were snubbed through our the service. After paying the owner ignored our departure. We had charming service from the young lady, thank you. However, I'm not sure what was wrong with us. The owner seemed to be all over the people from Germany and giving service to all the other tables. You win some and you loose some. We fine Brits have had great service in the area and will continue to support those establishments. We chuckled to ourselves as we didn't even get offered the old favorite sticky drink at the end. Things have clearly changed from when the nice old family were in charge. See for yourself self but don't be too British, even though we speak some Spanish it may change...

The visit to this place has left the biggest disappointment of the whole travel to Tenerife. As one of the previous reviewers we have seen a video on German YouTube and made our decision to have a dinner there. It was not a high season and we didn't expect to see crowded place, and thus it might be a perfect time for a good service which wasn't a case. The waiter was trying to do everything too fast: throwing plates and silverware on the table, running around and producing unnecessary stress. The food is way too average for the requested price. At the end I have orders Cafe solo for myself and had to remind twice that I am expecting it. Apart from that I can confirm that situation with expensive and not ordered is true. The information about the small garden next to the restaurant which covers all the required demand for bio vegetables is nothing more than fake advertisement. Another point is that prices on the menu do not include VAT. I advice not spending time here, better visit less posh and more simple place instead where you can...

The venue's location gifts patrons with absolutely breathtaking views, seamlessly complementing the dining experience. As for the food, it can be best described as a love letter to rusticity, every dish carrying a well-balanced symphony of flavours that honours its humble roots yet impresses the most discerning palates.

The staff here are particularly commendable. They exhibit genuine consideration towards non-Spanish speakers, ensuring every patron feels welcome and comfortable. They take the time to meticulously explain the menu, patiently decoding the various dishes' intricacies and their ingredients. This gesture fosters a deeper connection with the food, as understanding the story behind the dish often amplifies the overall experience.

In summary, the restaurant beautifully merges stunning panoramas with exquisite rustic cuisine, all while ensuring a welcoming environment through exceptional service. This place isn't just about eating; it's about savouring an unforgettable...

All the dishes we had were amazing, especially the gofio and the rabbit. I would have given a 5+, if the service would have been on par with the food. Unfortunately there are many issues in this area. We waited more than 15 min until someone served us. Some dishes from the menu were longer available at the start of the evening which is not the end of the world. Then we ordered gluten-free bread but after asking 4 times over 40 min it was still not coming and some dishes were really asking for bread. After the 5th ask, they told us they don’t actually have it… The waiters seem overall nice but probably not enough, looked stressed and provide suboptimal service… Communication is also in big need of improvement

This is a spectacular place, visually and gustatorily. If you can, book a few days in advance and ask for one of the tables by the windows. It is spectacular view of the coast below-you feel like you are flying. We had the starters Queso frito pan (fried cheese with three different sauces, sweet chili, coriander mojo and sugar cane honey), the salad with Iberian cured ham and the Pastel de Setas (mushroom terrine) coasted with a sauce of mustard, parmesan and Iberico ham. This last one was the best dish we had in the five days we were on Tenerife. We also had the local wine Terrral 205, a nice 2021 Syrah which is very nice but not our preferred style. We finished with the Coffee mousse - very good!

We drove 26 km from Santa Cruz and had to make a réservation before to make sure to be seated by the Windows. Typical Canarian cuisine. Traditional as desired for those who want to complete the Canadian picture after sightseeing. The view from the restaurant is breathtaking of the city of Puerto de la Cruz and the Atlantic. As a starter, de had ESCALDON, made from corn and wheat puree, (a mix of scalded gofio) too heavy for my taste. Also, Soup of the day, fish soup, excellent. That I recommend. Main dish, stewed goat meat served with fries. Nothing really special. Coffee was served in its Italian coffee maker, just like at home. We loved it. Prices are fair enough.
