O CARRASCO — Restaurant in Sanxenxo

We were there on the day Spain was playing football in the 2024 European Championships, so the restaurant was empty. The staff were super quick and courteous. The food is not typically regional, but the beef fillet in a cream sauce with mushrooms was outstanding. However, we liked the plate of goat's cheese and salmon a little less. The goat's cheese was too dominant and the whole plate just smelled and tasted of goat's cheese. The other ingredients no longer stood out. The decorations and the house have been done with great taste and it conveys a pleasant and welcoming atmosphere. The restaurant owner was super nice and the waitress from Colombia was very professional...

The restaurant is beautiful,the aesthetic is so romantic and homey at the same time. There’s a beautiful garden and terrace. The service is subpar and sometimes the owner starts playing the guitar and singing fado. The food is delicious, we ordered scallops, mushrooms, Eggplants lasagna, eggplant with salmon and rice, mixed croquettes, goat cheese, solomillos, all the deserts and lost of house wine. I didn’t love the mushrooms or the deserts but that hasn’t stopped me from going back a second time and I can’t wait to go back...

Hemos reservado antes porque en Agosto suele estar muy lleno. Fuimos hace 7 años y hemos repetido porque nos gustó mucho. Pedimos para compartir queso frito con mermelada de arándanos que estaba super rico, ponen 6 trozos y bastante mermelada, pedimos tambien langostinos y zorza con patatas y estaban buenísimos los 2 platos. De postre un tiramisú casero, quizá le quitaría el topping ese de chocolate que ponen por encima, porque ya de por sí ese tiramisú esta buenísimo sin nada más. El precio bastante asequible, la camarera que nos ha atendido ha sido muy agradable, atenta y rápida. Y el ambiente muy bueno, éramos casi todo familias y amigos. Nos ha llovido y por eso nos han dado mesa dentro, además íbamos con un carrito de bebé. En general una cena de 10. Recomendamos en estas fechas ir mejor a cenar a eso de las 20.30/21h, porque a partir de las 22h está...
