I had two wonderful sweet woman servers who were very kind. Gracias! And more about the food.

I was hungry as the magical swimming experience at Calo des Moro and S’ Almonia burned some serious calories. I even ate an avocado toast at Cafe Riutort at 9am to calorie up. And folks I usually intermittent fast until at least 1pm. But I was hungry and wanted a little something at this hour of 15:00. I asked for help deciding as nothing really excited me, I didn’t want seafood and the final choice was the burger. Result; Burger me burden! I just don’t understand how if your going to put a hamburger on your menu, you can have the audacity to use a pre-assembled patty. Aka a piece of rubber!!! I am a foodie, yes I admit my all habits are expected to be delivered with high standards….. so when a hamburger patty is served from a supplier aka pre made…. I just…. I can’t understand. PEOPLE!!! Where is your dignity?! I’d never serve a store assembled hamburger patty. My food/meals are prepared from quality ingredients and love. Purchase the ground beef and pork, finely chop those onions, mix in fine chopped herbs, salt, sauces, and add those beautiful carmalized onions, roasted tomatoes and use only Amazing condiments and sauces and amazing brioche buns please for the love of Hamburgod! This hamburger at Cassis I will admit, the bun, carmalized onion had a little flavor but I had to saw through this hamburger patty like, I don’t know. I’ve never had to use my muscles like that to saw through anything else I’ve ever eaten. And the fries. Don’t get me started on the fries. They were all petered out. They were soft. I had to eat them like small fried fishes. You know those ones you have to hold up and tip your head back to eat!!! I felt like people were judging my table manners because of how I had to eat these poor things. Anyway, the restaurant is cute, I enjoyed my vino blanco sangria and I’m sure other things are good. After I consume the fruit from my sangria I’m headed back to Palma where either tacos from this great looking spot or Lebanese from a family owned restaurant will probably be my choice. O jeeez I just heard a couple book a table for this evening and the server said the table is for 2 hours. Okay…,,,,, I get the supplier purchased patty now. Time is money and this ownership doesn’t like anything taking up time that cuts into profit. Not my style. I like quality. And quality takes time. Burgers should be made from scratch period. No store bought patties. Anyway I enjoyed my experience anyway. It’s a good glass of wine middle ground on the way...

Average food, with small portions but high prices, indifferent staff and a very different setting if you book the restaurant (as opposed the terrace) made for a very under whelming and disappointing experience.

Having driven by this place and seeing the twinkling fairly lights, we were drawn in like moths to a flame. We made note of the name of the restaurant and proceeded to book online for the next evening. When booking you're asked if you want the restaurant or terrace, not knowing there would be a difference we went for the restaurant.

Day of the booking we were led through the attractive looking bar (and what we had assumed was the restaurant area) to a little dark grotto. It was here we were seated, away from the atmosphere and idyllic setting we had been so looking forward to soaking up. We politely asked if there was anyway we could have a seat in the main section, as this was the main reason we booked. We were told no. When we said this was a very different setting to the one we'd been led to expect, they just said in a rather condescending tone 'there are pictures when you book of where you'd be sat' (there's not, see uploaded image).

Disappointed but now hungry and trying to make the best of it, we decided to order food (the same could not be said for the couple who arrived shortly after us, who were also shown to the cave table, took one look around promptly made their exit - well played that couple). The food was expensive (16 euros for Tumbet, which was 2 slices of thin potatoe, and 2 thin slices of aubergine) and was average at best.

If you manage to get to the pretty terrace perhaps the average, expensive and small portioned food is worth that wicked awesome insta shot that makes all your friends secretly wish they had your life. But it's not somewhere we'd return to, or...

No greeting at the entrance for many minutes. After making ourselves aware to one of the members at the bar and asking for our reservation we were responded with the word „nombre“ without any welcoming word and pointed (not walked) to a table which then was chosen incorrectly by us and we were reseated to a bigger table after we were being served our drinks already. Obviously there is more attention paid to the little electronic reservation Gadget saying we are at the wrong table than to welcoming your guests properly and maybe just let them be seated where they are right now. This wouldn’t have happened with a proper welcoming and guidance to our table at the beginning by the way (train your staff in greeting your guests). We then ordered our main dishes and a bottle of water. The dishes were served promptly but we had to ask three times again for our bottle of water when eventually my wife went inside to directly order it a fourth time which finally did the trick. I ve been to the Cassai many times and years before and I clearly have to say this was the utmost bad experience I have ever had in a restaurant by far in regards to service. Food was ok but also was better some years back (of course thats a personal taste). Cassai has always left a great reputation in my head which I loved to share amongst friends and colleagues. As a side note: Its not only about reaching the top- its about staying there. Of course everyone can have a bad day but this service and unwelcoming and ignorant behavior is something no one should ever experience in the guest service industry. I would be ashamed reading about my guests being treated this way. The higher they climb the deeper they drop. Great job though by the lady that took our payment and our complaint at the end. She was the most professional of the...

My recent visit to "Cassai" left me with positive impression. Let me begin with the highlight of the evening—the extraordinary friendliness of the waitstaff. They went above and beyond to accommodate our large group, which was greatly appreciated. The extensive menu at Cassai offers a wide variety of dishes, and most of them were delicious. However, I ordered the grilled trout with vegetables and rice, but to my disappointment, there was no rice on the plate, and the vegetables were excessively fried. For those with sensitive stomachs, this dish might not be ideal. Nevertheless, the quality of the fish itself was commendable. One cannot overlook the restaurant's unique and captivating atmosphere. The design is truly one-of-a-kind and adds an incredible visual element to the dining experience. It's a rarity to encounter such artistic design that leaves a lasting impression. Even though my dish was not very good for me , I would consider returning to Cassai in the future. I do recommend making a reservation in advance, as it's a popular spot, and the unique atmosphere alone makes it worth a visit. With a bit of menu exploration, Cassai has the potential to be a memorable dining destination.
