Pre food: We arrived with a group of 7 people at ~20:30 without reservation. The front man initially said the tables are fully booked all day every day but in our luck there was a last minute cancellation that gave space for us.
The courtyard style seating area is absolutely stunning with plants and pretty things to see everywhere.
First of all, staff was immensely kind and friendly. We were brought to our table and the super super friendly waitress told us about the specials of today, asked what we want to drink and not even 10 minutes later it was brought to table. Along with some complimentary chips with tomato pesto and some creamy sauce.
Then we ordered our chosen dishes, she kindly explained that the paella takes ~30 minutes to make so we are prepared for a little wait.
The vibe between staff also looked very wholesome and almost family like, that was very nice to see.
Post food: POAHH that was amazing, I personally had the day special Mallorcan fish dish. The portion size was less than I expected but with some bites of the paella that was left I was pleasantly satisfied.
Conclusion: This is a beautiful spot for really really good food. Make sure you have a reservation...
Read moreI really don’t understand the logic behind throwing two men at a table way in the back, almost inside the bar, when the place looked empty and stayed empty. It’s giving sexism and homophobia. We booked a table and when we asked the host for a table close to where the people were, his excuse was “sorry we’re full tonight, you also called very late so that’s the only table we have tonight.”
Two hours later, the restaurant was still half empty, with multiple tables for two unused. When I asked him why we were given that table, his story changed to “people cancelled.” Sure, you, four tables cancelled all at once. Maybe those empty tables were kept for two cute girls or hetero couples, but clearly not two guys. That’s dismissive, unprofessional, and discriminatory treatment.
The only bright spot was the Chilean waitress, she was sweet, kind, and explained the special menu very well, she’s...
Read moreThe food was good, but perhaps a bit oily/fatty for my taste. I had an Verdura Paella. The prices range between 16-30€, but the amount of food is pretty fair. If you don't eat so much, a 2people paella will serve 3-4 nicely. The photos are 2people portions each. We're 4 together.
The surroundings are lovely, super charming and intimate. My only little complaint is the music playing, which could be a morye local music rather than a very generic repetitive pop music. The speakers are not so well placed, so the acoustics aren't the best, but it is pretty good overall.
The staff was more than awesome, they were sweet and well polite, super welcoming people.
They do not charge 10% or any other tip, but you can offer some and they...
