Beso Beach Sitges — Restaurant in Sitges

Came to spend the day and relax without having to worry about running behind waiters to ask them for things. Initially arrived and they gave me the sunbed spot at the front. Sat down and we got told by other guests they we were reserved. We had to take our stuff and go in the second row, lady at the counter did not even bother to come and sort out the issue.

Non existent service by the sunbeds where you wave but either no one sees you or pretends to not see you. Had to go to the chiriguito twice to ask for menus and (what looked like the manager) very rudely told me to go back and his colleague would come. I explained no one was coming and he didn’t listen. Went to the employee who was in charge of sunbeds, who was there all alone and he was kind enough to take our order. Ordered 3 burgers, the food was average but afterwards we ordered 3 glasses of Rosé wine and it took 45 mins to arrive. Not only that but they were also warm, so had to send them back.

Overall, rude staff except the one guy around the sunbed area. Pay more to get access to a private beach club and relax. Instead I spent the day having to run behind people. Never had this kind of experience in a beach club. Very bad service and not worth...

This was possibly the strangest dining experience we have ever had. It seemed like the chefs were not working and they had bought random people to come and cook the food. No 2 dishes were alike ( same order) the orders were often incorrect starters came out as mains and vice versa and when the mains came out they were not cooked (even for a medium rare steak it was completely raw). Overall possibly the worst dining experience we have ever had. We couldn't believe it. It's such a beautiful hotel. When we finally , after so many problems, (we are not ones to usually do this) asked to see the manager and said we couldn't possibly pay for it he just said sorry and let us pay for drinks only. I was on the 8th floor terrace-bar. Place, views and design is great and with a potential of improvement. Staf was not according to what you expect for such Hotel... was a kind of Mafioso staf... very disappointing. Was a pity... because the place could be great.... Perhaps such staf in the beach (beso beach) would be acceptable... but not in the hotel. I also noticed that toilets were smelling from table distance. The idea of having DJ playing music I would remove it! it is disturbing and breaking harmony of the nice environment. Music too load. Missing a king of shadow sails at the area close to the perimeter of the terrace were was not possible to stay there due to the sun. To sum up... it is a place that could be 5 stars but currently it's only 1...
